a2xx is MARGINAL try to avoid a2xx from early positions unless you have some form of counterfeit protection...idealy a23x...however a24x is also playable from most positions...also try to avoid the most useless hi lo cards...987...if two of your cards are a 9, 8, or 7 you should probably toss this hand...gl to you sir -

some simple math on turning into a pro poker player
bicketybam replied to whirleymob's topic in General Poker Forum
well...it really depends on where you live...me a resident in the great state of texas, i would need about 35k a year for living expenses ($1500 per month on rent or 18k per year, $250 per month on electric or 3k per year, $400 per month on food or 4800 per year......so on and so forth) as you can see those three expenses alone equal about 26k per year. However when i lived in Texas things were much much cheaper (only about 1/2 the price). See what I mean.I do agree with your numbers for income though. -
any predictions for todays nlhe match
bicketybam replied to bicketybam's topic in General Poker Forum
xx eddie i agree with what you were saying...and in my original post i forgot to ask if anyone knew anything about his opponent, apparently you do so please share -
Hey fellow fcp'ers. I was just curious as to what the general census on todays match is (who most think will win). I personally feel after a session of approximately 6 hrs Daniel will be ahead by 350K.

bicketybam replied to dna4ever's topic in General Poker Forum
Well I played in the WSOP circuit at Harrah's N'Orleans this past May. I played in 2 small events, and yes there were some "big name pros", but the big name pros are no different than small time pros. Cause thats why I am. Nobody knows about me yet, but i consider myself a pro. Just because you've seen them on TV doesnt mean you should fear them, or call them a pro, cause you know how they may play certain hands. But anyway GL to you in Tunica, and yes they just might be there
