Doesn't really matter if it is... I'm a so called "professional" -- been in the design/marketing industry for over 10 years. I am also a DN fan, and a forum member as well. It was an open contest, so it wouldn't really matter if this team chadwick was a design company, as long as DN liked what they did, I suppose. Just my $.02My $.02... this was supposed to be "a contest for all of the loyal FCP Forum members." so if a pro was hired it DOES matter b/c its a waste of the " loyal FCP Forum members'" time (also.. does joining 9 days after the deadline put you in the above category? ala Chadwick.

I figured it out! this makes complete sense.. DN wasn't really feeling any of the logos that were submitted by the 15th.. so instead of disappointing his fans he hired a professional to create a logo for the site.. THIS is why it took so long to post a winner.. and to make it look legit and not to dissapoint a lot of people he decided to give prizes to 8 others... BUT notice the 8 others were people who constantly posted their logos for feedback (Royal, DC, jeffgen, Jason Bo, Governator, etc)... kind of weird considering OVER 1000 logos were submitted... AND Chadwick (the winner) just happen t

i got a similiar offer from another pro looking to start a company(btw all submissions DID NOT become property of FCP.. that was never mentioned in the rules and guidelines)
