i think he is bluffing, usually someone who is overly emotional or friendly is bluffing, but then again it is DN, a pro, thats just my guess, and anyway, is there a right answer??

well, think of it this way, all great poker players were arrested for underage gambling sometime, maybe it will apply to you 8)

AK, suited or not is a premium hand, along with AQ, AA, KK, QQ, JJ and arguably 10-10, and if u have to put in all ur chips preflop, do it with these hands, all other pairs, Ax, Kx depend on position and type of opponents, I think that u definatly made the right move, folding would have been very hard, however, I once played AA so obviously that an AK suited folded preflop face up and i was embarresed showing my obvious AA, since then, i have learned that u should never play aces the same way, mix it up depending on position and type of opponents, also freerolls are definatly a waste of time
