This book is excellent! A must for any tounament player. Great strategy and well written. He explains NL tourney play in an easy understandable style and illustrates concepts with real game situations. Get this book you will not be sorry!chazt

If not shady at least curious. I play Pacific Poker, Absoloute Poker, UB, Royal Vegas, Party Poker and Planet Poker. I tried Poker Room two different times thinking the first time I had a huge hole in my game. I was consisently outdrawn by weaker hands and got bad beat after bad beat. I cashed out before losing the whole roll the second time. If anyone can make money on this site good for you but I find this to be the most unrealistic site on the net. I found this to be an excellent book if you are interested in poker playing styles and how to play against them (or like them). Gives great insight into different styles from maniacs to rocks. The graphs and charts on analyzing your own play do seem redundant. Not a book full of odds rather a look at the "pyschological" nuts and bolts of playing styles. Chapter by chapter the author pits style against style and gives solid advice about your own playing style versus other styles.4.5 out of 5chazt
