At the showdown are you obliged to show both hole cards or can you show just one?Saw a player to my right shows a losing hand, and i beat him with just one of my hole cards, do I have to show my second card?I know that officially any player has the right to ask to see any mucked cards, but i'm not sure if just showing one is standard practice.The reason I ask is if I play K2, say, and pair my kings to make the winning hand, I may not necessarily want to reveal to the table that I entered the pot with a junk hand, so I just show my K at the showdown and leave people to guess my kicker.Does anyo

Not sure how i managed to get a seat for the freeroll... a friend of a friend of the organiser got me in. I didn't have to sleep with anyone or anything!There are only 250 players because the venue is not big enough to hold any more. Unlike the good ole US of A we dont have super casinos in the UK or even many casinos with card rooms. I think the event is being held in a hotel.Looks like The Hendon Mob and Dave "Devilfish" Ulliot may be coming aswell.

Hi all.I'm playing in the Oxford Cup (UK) this sunday, and as a special bonus i've managed to get a seat at a one-off tournament with Greg Raymer tomorrow. 60 players total with some sort of bounty on Greg I would imagine.I've been playing fairly low stakes NL poker live and online for the past 6 months. I'd say I was a decent player online, I generally win more than I lose and i've seen every episode of the WPT, but this is the first live multi table tournament i've ever played. And obviously the first one with pros involved. Tomorrow's game is a 60 player freeroll and Sunday's game is £20 NL
