  2. Wait until you're under the gun. Time out. You'll get back before your next hand. And since you're the BB you'll have that little extra time.
  3. Gives new meaning to the phrase sell in May go away.I just went long on AMZN and Netflix about a month ago.Oops. I agree with you Nut. US economy was brutal with cutting jobs and overhead.Europe tried to solve the problem differently.Fooled by Randomness.
  4. What did you expect? Your join the forum and your first post is totally blind and random. It's way cryptic too. So of course you're going to get the business. Usually what happens is that the very first response is always juvenile but after that if you ask a good question the responses will actually be pretty good. If most of the responses are juvenile, then your question wasn't very good.
  5. Just shipped it you bob.teaming up with bbgun. Thanks,Joe
  6. I'd like to play but need a partner. If anyone is interested. LMK.thanksJoe
  7. I think there are a bunch of reasons why it's slowed down. First, people think they know what they are doing and don't know need to work on their game. Ha.Second, really good players now sell their services rather than give free advice. (deuces cracked, pokerXfactor, pokerVT, Maven, Lego, Steve7Stud) Third, good players have developed a close circles of friends they share hands with.Forth, fewer people come to this site.
  8. Live tournament question: When evaluating people at your table do you have a routine when sizing up the players? Is there something you focus on more than others?IE - Do you focus more on betting patterns or more on physical tells?Do you try to create a baseline behavior and go from there?ThanksJoe
  9. The final monument of the classics. Liege-Bastongne-Liege.Liege-Bastongne-Liege is such a long race that I think it's fair to say if you're not a seasoned cycling professional your shot at winning is greatly reduced. The younger riders just won't have the legs to compete when the race enters the last part of the race. 5 Star FavoritesAlberto Contador faded in the last 200 meters of Fleche Wallonne I think it was more inexperience than lack of formCadel Evans 'no curse here' finally a climber wearing the rainbow jersery. On form with confidence. A real shot. Alejandro Valverde A climber who is
  10. Ryder is on great form right now. He's got a real shot at Liege-Bastongne-Liege. He'll also ride the tour this year. I don't know if he'll ever be the tour leader for Garmin. I think his stage win at the Tour of Spain was a real breakthrough for him. He should switch to Cervelo. A Canadian rider on a Canadian team. I don't know if he could podium at the tour but I think he'd have a shot at the tour of Spain.
  11. I take solace in the fact I was able to contribute to the team win. Thanks again for the porterhouse I think you guys could have a lot of fun with making crazy props. Cheers,Joe
  12. so sorry PSU. He snapped it too. Thanks so very much for the stake. Wish I could have brought home some cabbage for you.

  15. Is common for antes to start so early in the tournament? Is it because they start with so many chips?
  16. Apparently the eruption beneath the Eyjafjallajokull glacier (how the hell do you pronounce that?) has caused a lot of riders living in Spain to miss the race. Valverde and Sanchez along with Wiggins and Craig Lewis are not going to be able to start. My New predictions!1.Andy Schleck2 Chris Horner3. Phillippe Gilbert
  17. This Sunday is Amstel Gold. The first of the hilly classics. The finishes is really really crazy as it is uphill finish. The riders turn themselves inside out on the hill. They suffer 10X at this race. Unlike Flanders and Paris Roubaix this race seems a bit more wide open. There are a lot more favorites rather than just Cancellera and Boonen. Chris Horner is riding the best of his career. It would be awesome if he pulls off a victory. But not holding my breath. 5 Star FavoritesAndy Schleck Frank SchleckAlejandro Valverde 4 Star FavoritesChris HornerSergei Ivanov Cadel Evans3 Star Favori
  18. Sam Stein just got clockedStein AJ < 33 MercierJack on flop with a 2 and 6Turn was a 4 River was a 5 Leaving Stein with just 15k
  19. This heads up is going on 4evah. Jason Mercier is dodging bullets again and again. Just hit a 4 outer. A queen on the river.
  20. I'm going to take a different line here.I'm folding the after the flop. It's SO obvious that when the villain leads out he clearly has set or 45. At least that's what I'm putting him on. You've got to throw it away here. When you're beat, you're beat.
  21. Cancellara was a beast. An absolute beast. He won by 2 minutes! The only rider who even looked remotely on the same page was Boonen.Cancellara attacked while Boonen was in the back eating a drinking. Some have said that this was a little shady but I don't have a problem with it. Next up Amstel gold and Liège-Bastogne-Liège!So far this season has been about two riders. Contodor and Cancellara.
  22. Horner blasts his way to stage and race win at the tour of the Basque County! This is great news. I'm a big fan of Chris Horner. He even beat Valverde! This is easily the biggest win of his career. It's a big win for radio shack too as they haven't had a big result this year. A lot of second places but no wins. I don't think it will take off any pressure as they really only care about one race. the TDF.Armstrong has been sick. I think he's doing too much traveling. He's been to the USA, Europe and South Africa in the last few weeks. He need to park his ass in one place and get some serious trai
  23. Watts is what all the pros base their training on but like you I have not a clue how to interpret the data. 350 is good but if you look up some of the numbers what some of the pro do on mountain stages at the tour it becomes very humbling. But from the little I know that's impressive. the one reason you might have tested better on the run is because you felt more comfortable running than having your bike hooked up to a trainer. But this is only a guess.
