  1. Where's that story? Could someone link it for the forum-navigating-impaired?
  2. Says they started in Jacksonville. It's quite good. I recommend the Italian or the NY corned beef brisket thingy-do. They toast the subs, too.
  3. Back from lunch.Had an Italian sub from this small franchise sub joint called Firehouse. It was pretty good.
  4. Good morning y'all...It seems I'm always a little depressed on this day every year.At least work is going well, and chicks are prohibitively expensive anyways. And Nik's swimsuit girl posts are making me feel better, so it's all good.
  5. My favorite song BY FAR in Vice City was Kool and the Gang's Summer Madness. It perfectly sounded like what should be playing in the background strolling down South Beach. One of the comments on this link said it's like freeing your mind. I can't agree more.
  6. Ooh, yeah. You made a liar out of me... it's more than Halo and Madden that I've been into.I'm a loyal GTA guy as well, although I never beat San Andreas. I just kept getting too immersed in it and doing side projects (at one time I controlled ALL gang turf... that was fun!) that I never progressed through the missions.I've also gotta say that I think Vice City had the best music. San Andreas was close though... representing Snoop and Dre, hahaha.I can only handle one game at a time and I am having a lot of fun in WOW's expansion.Trust me on this: Halo 3 is the video game to end all video g
  7. Good times! Not something ya hear about every day, haha
  8. Speaking of video games...Is anybody else excited about Halo 3?I honestly can't recall being this worked up about something that can't come out for at least 6 more months or so.In my teen years I was a big gamer... but kind of got away from it. Now Halo and Madden is pretty much all I care about... but I'm deeply immersed in both of them.
  9. heh heh heh.I've been wondering who the good teams in the NFL are thinking about drafting. I'm thinking the Patriots OR the Colts would be an excellent fit for Patrick Willis, the LB from Ole Miss.As much of a sports pscyho as I am... I still can't wait for football again already.
  10. Oh yes, you can't be a good heckler without doing research. We literally walk into the ballpark about a 12'er deep with dossiers on the bullpen and left fielder.
  11. One of my favorites was some bullpen pitcher from Washington last year. We looked him up before the game and found out he was from Chile... and we made fun of him for the political instability in his country. He gave up the go-ahead home run in the 8th.Coincidence? I think not!
  12. Dale Murphy I remember.... but my first memories of the Braves were from 91 on, hahaGood seats still aren't hard to get! Atlanta has the most apathetic fair-weather fans in the entire country......Except for me and my buddies who go get drunk and sit by the opposing team's bullpen and left fielder and absolutely let them have it all game.We get inside their heads.
  13. The Braves have been sold from one faceless, gigantic corporation to another faceless gigantic corporation.Sigh.
  14. Off too pool league.Hope I stroke smoothly.hahaha
  15. Ah whatever.I still miss his goofy self.
  16. There is a gaping vacuum in my baseball soul that can only be filled by the ADHD, dip-spitting, Cy Young-molding fiend that is now the manager for the Orioles.
  17. And you bring up a very good point, Jeff.I will be so sad to see Andruw go. He's going to have a monstrous first half to make his value high, though, so that's good. He's represented by Scott Boras, so you KNOW he's going to "test the market." Buster Olney says barring injury, he'd be shocked if Andruw doesn't get a 6 year 100M type deal from someone. And our fcuking team is owned by a fcuking corporation, and we'll never shell out the kind of money a guy like Andruw commands. And even if he's a 5 and 10 guy... and even when I watched his Atlanta debut (3 HR in Philly!!)... he'll end up somewh
  18. Bahahahhaha.Yep.Let's go ahead and pencil UGA in for an undefeated SEC season and a national title next year.I mean did you SEE our somewhat-stronger-than-average-but-not-fantastic recruiting year!
  19. Haha, yep, I know I'm a horribly biased fan. The Phillies are a lot better this year, the Marlins and Nats are very plucky, and I hate hate HATE the Mets so I can't say anything nice about them.We have major question marks in a bunch of places. The great thing about being a Braves fan is that we can just sit back and say "It's okay, Bobby will work a miracle... and if he can't, Schuerholz will broker an awesome deal and it'll be okay." We're going with a Scott Thorman/Craig Wilson platoon at 1st, and Kelly Johnson is probably hitting leadoff and playing second... we'll just have to see how t
  20. Ah HAH! I get it now.Yer a wiley one, haha.So who's excited about pitchers and catchers reporting this week! I'm thinkin Braves reclaim the East and win the World Series.
  21. What an awesome movie. To answer your question, Jeff... basically a priest shows up, listens to a last confession, says a few prayers, and administers the Eucharist one last time.In emergency situations any baptized Christian can administer last rites, and it's spiritually equivalent to a priest.
  22. Yeah, that's exactly the way I felt about it too.Got an article you're guaranteed to like, Sam. The author is Orson Scott Card, who wrote my favorite books of all time, the Ender's Game series. He's a pro-war student-of-history Democrat who's not a fan of Democrats today.http://www.ornery.org/essays/warwatch/2007-01-14-1.html
