  1. Bodog does not accept canadian players but I found a way around that being is they don't check into it too hard after all money is money.
  2. Bodog offers only 20% bonus but it is good for every deposit not just yoru first. It also shows in your account immediately. You do need to play a cerrtain amount of hands before you can cash it out but the fact that you can play with their money and not your own is great. Say you deposited $1000, you can play with that $200 and grow it into a bankroll of substantial size without ever putting any of your own money at risk. Sites like UB and Full Tilt offer 50% and 100% bonus for newbies and occasionally they will offer a "reload bonus" of about 25-50% for a limited time (UB does this). HO
  3. Today was killer. I had AA, KK and AKs cracked in major hands to end a sit n go and lose over $135 in cash games.AA was late in a sit n go with 5 players left. I was in the BB and the blinds were 75-150. I didn't have a ton of chips left so i wanted action and only raised the min after the SB limped in. Flop came out 4,6,7 rainbow and he bet 150 I raised to 500 and he called. Turn was an 8 and I went all in after he checked he called showing 10,9 offsuit for the nut str8.Later in a cash game I was plying Nl .50-1 at UB and I've been grinding for 55 minutes to get my $50 up to $82. I get
  4. The Moose are good this year. We were up there for New year's and got a split. I played with most of the team at some point in my career. Dipenta, Goren, and Huskins, N. Smith, T. Smith, Auld, Flaherty, Aitken and Green. I even got some hold em in at the bigger of the two casino's (can't remember the name) when I was there.
  5. I'll be in Houston Saturday to play the Aeros let me know if you'll be at the game.
  6. cheers,TI just think it's awesome we have an AHL player trolling the board. As a big hockey fan (From Maine, so I'm a Pirates fan  ) I hope I can see you play. However that looks doubtful as the Pirates are in second to last place in their division right now, but the Grifs look like they're in good shape, good luck in getting to the playoffs! How soon we forget who got Daniel the tickets to that Griffins game. That makes two AHL players and poker fans trolling the website.
  7. I was playing some $.50-$1 NL at UB last night and I was doing pretty well turning my $40 into $56 in about 10 minutes of play. I'm sitting in the cut-off seat and i get dealt KK. Besides the blinds there's two people in before me one for a min raise of a dollar. I make it $6 more to play and the button calls, the SB and BB fold the limper goes all-in for $100 and the the min raiser goes allin for $30. I called with my remaining $48 and see that the original limper has AA and the other AKoff. AA took the monster pot. What I'm saying is that this AA vs. KK seems to happen much too often a
  8. Ok so it's compatible with UB. HOw do you import all your hands played? Do you have to do it as you play? Also does this work with sngs aswell? Or is it more suited to cash games?
  9. Is Pokertracker compatible with UB and how much is the full version?
  10. how do you determine what a "big bet" is? Also where on your stats is taht reflected?
  11. My buddy and I are from Canada so we have a bunch of hockey related hand names.99- Gretzky88- Lindros77- Bourque66- Lemieux55- Primeau44- Souray33- Larry Bird39- Dougie Weight57 - Hienzy (as in heinz 57)AQ - Slick's wifeJ8 - JeightQJd- Death cards (because my buddy got knocked out of 4 conceutive tournaments with those same cards)
  12. So Smash if you go to a casino to play say 3-6 you sit down with $900? YOu'd need a frigging Brinks truck to carry your daily bankroll. That's seems like overkill especially when you know you are better than most of the table.
  13. KK postflop to a joker that played A3 to my raise preflop. ON the turn i laid down an Ace high flush to a paired board, however, it wasn't that hard since he was betting like he had a set until the turn made my flush and his boat.
  14. If you are trying to turn $50 into $1000 why are you playing such low limits? It seems to me taht you played for 2.5 hours and made just over $3. What is the fun in that? You are obviously an experienced player so why not play soem .25-.50 NL with like $10 and increase your bankroll exponentially?
  15. I agree that you flopped a monster and you should tried to coax him in more instead of betting $9 into a pot with less than a dollar. Your other ptoblem is you are playing at a $5 NL table. Give me a break you think anyone at those tables is going to fold anything ever for 9 freaking bucks? If I have top pair I call every day of the week cause chances are I'll always have outs. All in a all it was a bad beat though and better luck next time.
