i have arrived safe and sound in buenos aires, and everything has pretty much been a blur since then.have been going to orientations, signing up for classes and getting situated and havent had time to snap any photos, but theyll come. seems like a great city and i think im going to have a lot of fun (and even learn some stuff) in the next 5 months.

My friend from my game at Elon got an internship and worked this whole WSOP in vegas for pokernews doing live updates, and got to live in a nice ass house for free. forgot to mention that i saw george clinton and parliament on july 4th in louisville.it was a free show with fireworks after so the crowd was huge and also, hilarious. seeing the guys with mullhawks (the classic redneck thick strip of mullet down the middle with shaved sides) and clint bowyer hats on attempting (and sometimes even succeeding at) gettin down with the p-funk was almost too much. also, george clinton is old and fat, but still kicks ass.

i got both fairly recently and maybe liquid swords hasnt grown on me sufficiently yet, but I think Cuban Linx is better, if only because it has about twice as many songs (most of which are on the level of the average Liquid Swords tune) and because Ghostface is so heavily featured.Also, whereas Liquid Swords stuck with the samurai theme Wu had played with before, Raekwon basically invented the whole mafioso genre (or at least stuck in its first important landmark).
