  1. I hate, hate, hate doing the bolded. That's just giving up so much value from people bluffing/value betting worse.I think you can feel fairly comfortable check folding a lot of flops since continuing out of position is never going to be easy.I think you'll find plenty of bad players calling off shoves with plenty of lol-holdings.
  2. In general here I expect premiums to be out of his range and he will almost always call if I 3 bet...having no idea about stack:pot ratios and such. If I make it something silly like 700 he might just decide to stick it in or fold. There are players who back raise here but they Basically, if I make it 475 here I'll have to play at least heads up out of position with slightly over a 1:1 stack:pot ratio....which is a spot I find really awkward....even against a wide range/weak range.Yet shoving seems a lot of chips and calling seems weak. Just an awkward preflop spot.
  3. Early in a $12 turbo something or other...Don't know opener. Button is 42/14 over 14 and my experience with players like this is that they very rarely fold to any kind of reasonably sized 3 betsFeral Cow Poker Hand ConverterPokerStars No-Limit Hold'em ($11+$1) t25/t50 - 9 playersSB: t1,084 BB: t1,575 (Hero)UTG: t1,795 UTG+1: t1,245 MP: t615 MP2: t3,965 HJ: t1,705 CO: t2,705 Button: t2,900 Preflop: (t75) Hero is BB with (9 players)3 folds, HJ raises to t150, CO folds, Button calls t150, Hero..
  4. I dislike use of the word "backfired." With this stack you should be ecstatic to get it in flipping with dead money. Who cares about the result.
  5. 4 tabling and watching movies and cricket all day
  6. Agree regarding pre. Raise and call are both okay here for me.I think flop lead sizing is fine..I agree with checking one of the later streets for pot control...however I don't think we are anywhere near turning our hand into a bluff on any street. I wouldn't be surprised to be called down by 77 here.I'd probably bet turn check river and often call depending on bet size.
  7. thunderbolt1 is in the upper echelon of 2p2 posters. Def worth checking out
  8. Still is : http://www.pokerstars.com/poker/room/prohibited/Under As is PTR ....but not hand trackerI use sharkscope all the time though and I've never gotten a warning.I think sharkscope is quite different to the hand history sites though.
  9. Everyone is 98% sure of something in this thread...Sharkscope was on some list in the past but may not be now. It was never really enforced, a few people were emailed about it from time to time.
  10. I think it's a pretty shady/unethical thing to do and I dislike that there are sites out there that offer hand histories. I'm really unsure as to the Stars' policy on this...you might wanna read very carefully through the T+C.It's lame that these sites exist which force people to do these things just to get a slightly bigger edge.I think coaching is a much better path to take..quite tough to be sure you're getting a good coach though.
  11. I mean you played it non standard. Standard would be to c-bet the flop and probably bet the turn. It's hard not to play aces correctly on this board 20 BBs deep, especially against someone who is willing to bet.His preflop play is really bad against your stack size and the stack sizes to act. His flop bet might be okay but I think it's a little optimistic. His turn play is fine although there is some merit to checking behind to pot control/induce a bluff....not that you should really have a hand to bluff with after you c/c the flop
  12. 9a) Non standard but okay. I recognize the name and he played his hand fairly horribly.b) Fine. These spots happen all the time and it's much easier to remember the times you get looked up and lose and forget the times you take it down. The player is absolutely irrelevant in this spot since your shove is unexploitable.c) This is definitely +EV but raise/usually call might be better. Depends on the table dynamics quite a bit. In general I think you're not gonna be giving up too much doing this.

  15. I'll take whatever round percentage $25 ends up being nearest to if you play.
  16. WOW, maybe one of the sickest Sunday threads ever.
  17. It doesn't really matter what the calling range is so much as the calling range as a %age of the opening range. I think in this case, readless, the player is usually opening fairly tight and not raise/folding often so folding KQ is definitely prudent. Flatting is the worst of all options. It's a large %age of your stack and you don't hit nearly often enough - even when you do hit you can easily be dominated/not dominating (>75%) equity-wise when you get it in.Flatting as a stop and go is an idea but I think you are too deep to make that better than just shoving/foldingNote - I think a 4x op
  18. Rose is from da HoodAs a rule never flat opens with 16 Big Blinds, especially 4x opens. Shove or fold prefop.Unluckly though.
  19. Play lots and lots and lots of handsAlso, don't do it.
