first of all, u shd never ever raise so little with pocket kings. i feel the hero should have made a bigger raise. his stack was 20+k. maybe a 10k raise would have been great. on of the things u hate most when u have pocket pairs is when u allow people to see the flop. u should always bet strong. if u raised on a turn, u shd nvr check because it shows weakness ( unless we are talking abt traps of course ) villian capitalised on that and sensed weakness and raised the hero and the hero would probably fold.

ok guys, after much consideration. i've noticed a few things: im losing at poker because im impatient and always call too much for a newbie who cant afford. i tend to go all-in too much. aft what u guys have said, i think i shoul slow down my pace. thanks for reminding me that. shall be more patient frm now on while working towards my goal!

i've searched for every single article: read most and found 50% to be crapi've borrowed books from the library but available titles are sklansky on poker which made no sense for my hold em NL and anne duke's how i raise bluffed flirted xxx xxx and won millons. no use there too. but that are the only 2 books which were in the library related to poke. there's this big bookshop that im gonna try but im sure the lot wont come cheap. as for the suggestions abt tropical poker and fruit, i'll go try them asap thanks for all the help.recently, i've been watching high stakes poker. is it good to learn

i have problems finding these books.. especially in singapore. have no credit card to buy it online. relying alot of my local library at the moment! UPDATES** im going to play in a $0.10/$0.20 cash game THIS COMING WED! buy-ins are at $100 and unfortunately, ill only be able to afford 1 buy in, so i INTEND to let the other players know about this so i'll be able to bluff easier.. any suggestions for game plans?

and also im interested if any seasonal pros are looking for grooming of a new and young player lol

I'd came acoss this site when i googled daniel negreanu, i signed up for the pokerstars site because they give chances for new players to participate in the freerolls. I'm a play money poker player atm and hope to earn my first bank roll from the tournament because im a student and i've no money, my country restrictons have some problems with me registering my debit cards on (singapore). Will i improve just by playing play money tables? The players do not value money at all there and go all in every round. After switching tables, again they'll appear. I'm relatively new to the game, playing fo
