  1. 8 handed, blinds are at 40/80.Both SB and BB are very tight preflop. BB lost half his stack about an orbit ago with AQ on a flop of KQx, betting every street. He also went all-in on the hand before this with ~25BBs UTG.BB is shortstack with ~2200Hero has ~13000Preflop: Hero is on the button with KdKc5 folds, Hero calls, SB folds, BB checksFlop: (200) Jc, 9c, 8sBB checks, Hero bets 200, BB callsTurn: (600) 9sBB bets 500, Hero ???
  2. You overthought this. You have top set on a board with no flushes and only one straight possibility. You need to push this.
  3. He hasn't completely sold me on having a set; his turn play was really bizarre. How seriously can he be worried about a straight or a flush draw when I raised preflop and made a c-bet? He inflated the pot on the flop just to give me an opportunity to fold on the turn? I dunno, it just really wasn't adding up to me. Also, if he has a set here I think he has to seriously consider leading out on the flop and letting me come over the top of him defining my ace. Wouldn't that have more +EV than the approach the villain took as played? The problem I was having was, well; not many hands make sens
  4. Home game SNGDown to 3 handed, blinds are at $.50/$1Hero has ~$40BB has ~$35BB was TAG when the table was full, however he has defended his blind often so far SH. This is my first time playing against him SH.Hero is dealt Ac 10d on the button.Hero raises to $3, SB folds, BB callsFlop: Ad 3h 5cBB checks, Hero bets $4, BB raises to $8, Hero callsTurn: 6hBB is all-in for ~$24, Hero ?I'm getting about 2:1 to call. His minraise and subsequent all-in on the turn really baffled me as he's a solid player who I've rarely seen get out of line. Criticism on all streets is welcome.
  5. instacall and don't be shocked if button has an ace.MP looks totally clueless.
