So I go to Vegas quite often. About once every 2 months or so...I've been 4 times since August though (haha)...and until recently, hadn't really looked for pro poker players at all. However, I'd like to hear from some of you on a couple of topics...1. Who have you met in Vegas? Where'd you meet them? Got any good stories?2. What's everyone's take on AP?It's my favorite place to play...I like the layout of the software, there are excellent tournament selections (TONS of sit and gos, $1-$100 multi tables, freerolls, etc.) and the players on there, for the most part, are pretty relaxed and easy to play with...But I never see it mentioned at all among online players.

Hey guys...I found this forum a few days ago and after my trip to Vegas decided to sign up.My name is Ryan. I'm from Simi Valley, CA (about 30 mins from LA) and enjoy playing, watching, and reading about poker. I've been playing since October 2003, and while I jumped in during the big explosion, I consider myself to have attributes most players who jumped in during this time do not. Namely my intrest in learning techniques, more games than NLHE, reading articles and books, furthering my game, the Socratic wisdom of knowing I know very little about poker, and my constant thinking about my game.

You can find them on eBay...I had bought a set of 19 years for about $70. Well worth it, IMO...although I'd LOVE to see the WSOP put out official ones...
