  1. What time? Some of us west coast guys dont get off work until 5 PM (PST)
  2. I registered too, but I dont get off of work until 5 so I'm gonna get blinded off the first 2 rounds
  3. I was there last night when that hand happened. I was at the other table, and my friend was at your table. I thought you guys were gonna kill that guy with the QT
  4. What's the point of increasing your chip stack if top 21 get paid the same....it doesn't matter if you finish the tournament with 1,000,000 chips or 1 chip.I can understand in a tournament where you're paid more the higher you finish, but not in a tournament where final chip count plays no role in what prize you recieve.
  5. Thats what I meantExample:Short stack pushes in with 3400 with TTBig Stack calls with KQOther Big Stack Calls with Q6Flop AK5Guy with Q6 pushes all in...KQ foldsTurn was 8 river was 8 and short stack with TT wins the handThat's what I had to deal with last night
  6. I can't believe how bad people played when we got to the last 25 people, 21 getting a seat at sundays 200+15. When a player went all in, other players would try to bluff other people out of the hand. Even though I won my seat I'm still venting at how horribly wrong people played at the end. For the love of god you have 250,000 chips you dont need to bluff another 8k, check and try to win your seat!!!!No point to this post...just venting
  7. 10. I was thinking the same thing, because he was going from solid play to stupid play to solid play. I was hoping it was something like QQ JJ or even AK.....HoweverSeat 7: extrasmart4u (button) mucked [3c 2s]I think he either was:A) He was trying to make a moveB) Thinking he'd rather be lucky then good

  13. I've never been rivered twice in the same hand =)
  14. If you're talking about tournament hands then AQ imho isn't a extremely strong tournament hand. Take for example you have AQ in early position and you raise. Someone in Middle position(lets say a solid player) raises all in, which covers your stack, and everyone folds back to you.Against any pair 22-JJ you're (50/50)vs QQ KK AA and AK you're a major underdog.even hands like78 TJ KJ J9(suited), you're only a slight favorite (60/40)The only hands you dominate are AJ-A2 QK-Q2 and crap like 27 39 59Is it worth risking your tournament on a coin flip?
  15. The reason I call this flop is because of the pot odds....look at all the callers.PokerStars Game #1237092071: Hold'em No Limit ($2/$4) - 2005/02/19 - 00:05:19 (ET)Table 'Kajam III' Seat #2 is the buttonSeat 1: Johnny_Felix ($644.60 in chips)Seat 2: Abram ($153 in chips)Seat 3: omnic0n ($426.30 in chips)Seat 4: vinnieg515 ($139.10 in chips)Seat 5: SHANI ($529.45 in chips)Seat 6: shane4555 ($60 in chips)Seat 7: Tommie ($423.90 in chips)Seat 8: keithfrancis ($270.05 in chips)Seat 9: 1Longboarder ($178.30 in chips)omnic0n: posts small blind $2vinnieg515: posts big blind $41Longboarder: posts big
