  1. I have a weird question that I can't figure out.... if banks are no longer allowed to process transactions from "online gambling sites" what happens when you cashout with a paper check and go to cash it at your local bank? Is it treated as a gambling transaction since it's from a gambling site and your money is effectively frozen, or does Stars send their checks with an alternative name? ie. like a dummy corporation?
  2. If I check pf and then check the flop and he leads, I'm left in a guessing game still aren't I? I think I would end up losing more chips calling down with my ace good kicker, unless I reraise the flop and he flat calls for instance, then it's going to be a very rough spot..
  3. So the lead on the flop is good right? Like outside of either raising more pf or just limping is there anything else i can do here? What about a check raise of villain?
  4. Ok so say I make the raise to 1200, and the flop action is the same, easy fold?

  6. So is it ptBB per table x number of tables, or the average of all the tables over that span of time? Also what is a good sample size to be considered viably sustainable? thanks for all the help so far.
  7. I've been thinking and trying to figure out what a stable rate is for NLHE and PLO and I'm not sure how to figure it. I want to calculate a sustainable win rate too, not just while on a rush. Would you consider it in terms of big blinds or what? Average rate of money won? If it's just a general hourly rate, is there some way to tell if it's sustainable? I.E. averaging 1$/hr playing .10/.25 NLHE seems excessively low and 15$/hr seems excessively high... So is there some generic formula you can use to calculate this?
  8. OK so with my stack is there really any way to play this hand post flop to get away from it in the event he has something big? I hate going in with jacks but obviously I'm going to have a tough time getting a bigger hand and I don't have many chips to make moves post flop. I guess this is starting to turn into a general question on whether it'd be better to jam with a reasonably large hand preflop or if it's possible to try and small ball steal myself some chips... Any thoughts?
  9. My thought on this hand was that he's been very aggressive as of late, not necessarily always jamming preflop with 25. But since I am getting short stacked in comaprison to the blinds and I'm playing to final table and not just cash, I was looking for a good spot to double so I would have some room to work with. The only question really is, in general with limpers + a raise with myself having a LITTLE breathing room, is it possible to fold here and try and steal any pots the villain doesn't push at first?
  10. OK, it's edited now.. With my stack I don't really have room to get away from a bad flop do I? It's pretty much jam here or jam the flop right? Also, does the fact that I've been running horribly play into this decision?
