i signed up to royal vegas poker just so that i could get the $10 sign-up bonusand guess what..i lost the 10 bucks in the first 2 hours..wowi thought i was better than thati played a $1 tourney and i was about 90 min. into it and prett short stacked. so i go all in w/ AJ hearts and get called by a guy whith KJ unsuitedwell guess what..like usuall whwnever i play cash games or tourney and i get my money in as a 5 to 2 favorite..I LOSS!!! a king flops up and i get busted outthen i have 9 bucks left and sit down at the .05/.10 NL tables. first hand...booom QQ i raise to 50 cents and get

i was playing recently in a 4-handed game. im first to act and pick up K T suited in clubs i raise 3 times the BB BB=20 the BB calls flop comes A 8 3 rainbow i lead at it with 135 and he reraises to 350 i think about it and put him on A T he knows i have a big hand and sometimes will fold very good hands well then i go al in with 3000 he thinks for a while and calls with A 8.... 2 pair i know that i just risked 3000 to win about 3500 and it was a bad play i have rear TOP and know all of the concepts but am yet to actually apply/remember them in an actuall game i just want some opinions to know

i know but when u say 80does that mean the big blind plus 80 or 40 +40 = 80thank you

ok this is going to sound dumb but......when someone says "raise 3 times the big blind" does that mean that you raise TO 3 times the big blind or do you raise the big blind plus 3 times its value?in otherwords..when someone says that, and the big blind is 20 do you raise to 60 or to 80? so 40 more than the BB or 60 more than the BB?thx

ok i got championship nolimit/pot limit holdem by mcevoy/cloutirejust recently bought itand it has a strategy for pot limit holdem but it doesnt have one for nolimit holdemsince these are pretty similar should i just use the pot limit strategy to improve my no limit game?thx for the advice

I rescently purchased Theory of Poker by Sklansky and read it.It is a great book with tons of usefull information...but for some reason i cant seem to apply the concepts that i learned in it when i am acttually playing.I remember everything that was written but when a particular situation arrises, i never use any of the information that i used.i dont put an oponent on a hand, i dont calculate the odds that he has a certain ahnd, i dont calculate odds to call a bluff...etc.it is horrible because i know how to do all of these things but whenever i actually begin to play....i seem to forget/never
