MO NAKED HOESLMAO has to be the funniest sig that I have seen yet.personally, i felt a bit better knowing that even a player with as much talent and success as DN can go on tilt and make bad plays. as a fan of his it was painful--but instructive--to watch. -

Holy crap that sucks. How many chips you got left now?

I would call the turn, then if the board doesn't pair on the river and the SB still bets you got to get rid of it.

Well you got til 2012 to get it done, then we are all done for.

Do you guys know the official rule on if a player turns their cards face up in the middle of a hand can they still play the hand? I have heard it go both ways.Last night i was playing 2-10 spread and a drunk guy was turning his cards over whenever he had a good/most likely winning hand at the time and letting everyone check it down until they had him beat or had to fold because they didn't have him beat. He was calling every bet too so if you did have him beat you were making some easy money off of him. I was only there for about 15 minutes while he was doing this before we had to leave and only picked up two hands against him but it was definitely the weirdest/dumbest thing I have seen at a table.

I was Fred Flinstone last year. We went as the whole TV crew, I had to yell Yabba dabba Do at every bar we went into. That was the worst drive home I have had in a long time.

Kinda sounds like that win a date with Tad Hamilton flick. Except they don't sleep together. The good thing about not playing any poker is that I have time to pick up all my old hobbies. I'm writing again which feels really good. I originally got into radio so I could support myself while I wrote screenplays. Although ever since I did radio, I never did any writing. Now I'm filled with ideas and I haven't stopped writing 'em.My latest idea I can't believe someone hasn't done yet. It's a script based on the old theory of "The List." That's the list of Hollywood celebs that you're allowed to sleep with if you ever get the chance. No one ever expects anyone to actually follow through on it, so it's kinda just an academic thing. Not for our hero whose forced to watch his girlfriend get wooed by her number one on her list. OK, so now no one can steal it. It's all mine. -
I just got moved up to a silver card at my local casino this year. In the newsletter that I got sent out it said I could get two free meals and four free drinks every time I went to the casino. Now they realized they made a mistake and put a limit on everything, turns out i used up my limit by mid February.I'm moving this weekend, and will be close enough to a casino to play live daily (I've only played live 3 times previously). I've done a little research--the casino offers points for play in the poker room, and it sounds like point-certification is done by a floor supervisor. So... my questions to people who play live regularly: 1. Is it worth the time/effort to register for a rewards program?2. If I do sign up, how do I make sure I get credit every time I play? Thanks for any input. -
I got my lucky CD back last Wednesday and I have cashed in every tournament I have been in since then, finishing no lower then fifth place.I listen to Headstrong by Trapt, if you listen to the words you could kinda build it up in your mind that you are at a poker table battiling during that song.I have also been getting lucky the last week....LOL

Just heard we are having a huge home game tonight. Well as big as it can get with anywhere from 12-20 guys. I am debating about whether or not to go pick up some headphones afterwork. We just had out fantasy football draft and there are a couple of guys that I literally can not stand listening to for five to six hours straight. He is also the guy there who thinks he is the greatest player in the world even though it seems everytime he gets a big chiplead it is from pulling off a major suckout.Anyways thats my two cents.......i should probably skip the whole thing and go to the Friday night tourney at my local casino that has an $1100 first place prize for about the same amount I will end up spending at the home game.

Synopsis A professional poker player whose astounding luck at the table fails to translate into his lonesome love life attempts to win the World Series of Poker while simultaneously earning the affections of a beautiful Las Vegas singer in a high-stakes emotional drama from L.A. Confidential director Curtis Hanson and Munich screenwriter Eric Roth. When his personal problems threaten to distract him from what could be his biggest win ever, seasoned poker pro Huck Cheever (Eric Bana) finds comfort in the company of singer Billie Offer (Drew Barrymore). Upon preparing for the biggest card game in the country, however, Huck soon realizes that his problems have only just begun when he finds that his opponent at the table will be none other than his estranged father, L.C. (Robert Duvall), a poker legend whose mythical reputation makes him a more than worthy opponent for his troubled son. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide
