I'm still learning short handed as well but if I were you, I would've called his re-raise on the turn and call river because he's showing strength twice to a check-raise - I also won't fold because I don't want to let go of AA incase he has QQ or KK - but nevertheless, you check-raised him twice and he's still raising it up so mb he hit a set or has 2 pair

I would've raised the flop, if he 3 bets, then I would call and painfully fold QQ on the turn if he bets out. Otherwise I bet the turn if he checks.

well, I 3 bet because I felt that if I have a drawing hand, why not just put more money in the pot preflop so that if I hit a draw, I might get paid off big, while if I miss, I can just let it go.So my question is, is that type of play -ev in the long run?
