hello everyone. always a treat to read all your posts. what i was wondering is- i am going to las vegas in may. i want to play some tourneys. i want to play some low buy in's just to get use to tournament poker. any one know where the good 40 or 50 dollar tourneys are.thanks

this may sound dumb but i have a question . what do the pro poker players and serious poker players use for a computer. laptop or desktop. and what would the specs be?

i figured i would take $300-$400 something like that. how exactly does the rake work in the low limit games? last time i watched, people had chips and stacks of quarters. how does the rake work?

i have been reading the posts here alot. i find alot of good info. I am new to playing in a real casino, i play online alot and in a regular game 1-2 times per week(tourney style with friends), how ever if i just wanted to go to a local casino and play $2-$4 limit what is a good starting bankroll. :-)

i play around 25-30 hours a week online and 1-2 nights a week in a regular live game.i had to make a schedule for myself since i do work fulltime, but you gotta start building a bankroll sometime. :-)
