  2. Daniel,I have been pretty vocal lately I guess, and I am never vocal about anything....one of my weaknesses actually. I was one of the people in the other thread who said that I would be canceling on Nov. 21 if nothing changed. Well, I didn't do that because you and FCP Matt came on here and responded to what was being said. That was the number 1 issue to me. People have been saying the same thing for over a month. There was no response from anyone representing PokerVT, then this week's content comes out and it amounts to just under 20 minutes. I am sure you can understand the frustration in t
  3. This week's new content = less than 20 minutes. Thanks for listening PokerVT. Good to know you are trying to keep your customers happy. My membership renews November 21. Unless something drastic happens, or someone from PokerVT actually comes on the *Forum dedicated to PokerVT* to explain what the problem is or tell us that things are going to change, and how, then my membership will be cancelled on November 20th.
  4. The thing about all of this is that they are just passing up on free money. The monthly fee comes straight out of my bank account, and if the content were competitive with other sites, I doubt I would ever cut it off. I don't plan on quitting poker anytime soon (if I can make it through the endless string of 2 outers I am on right now, then I can make it through anything), so I really don't mind paying for as long as it's worth it. Did they really go through all of this work setting the site up/advertising for it just to get a bunch of initial sign-up fees and then let everyone unsubscribe? Li
  5. I agree as well. I think this will be my last month with this subscription. I hate to do it since I really enjoy the small ball content and Adam's videos, but I just don't think that I am getting what I am paying for. I look around at other sites, and there is so much content. Not only that, the fact that people have been complaining about this for several months without any response or change makes me doubt they will improve. If multiple people are constantly stating that they are going to leave if the content doesn't improve, and they do nothing about it....what are we supposed to think? All
  6. +1 on this. The time seems to be extremely short before you are logged off. Also, I sent a pm before I saw this thread, so in case it wasn't in the right place, in the Daniel's Tips section on Bluffing at Paired Flops, Daniel describes a situation where you are in the big blind with J8 on a 335 board. However, the graphics show you with JJ. Daniel then talks about how you completely missed the flop and goes on with the lesson. This could be very confusing if you didn't pay attention to the fact that he said J8, and is obviously not the scenario he is trying to present .
  7. Maybe it has something to do with this: Joined: 01 Jan 2005Posts: 2617. In 6 months you have over 2600 posts, and I would guess that half of them are in this forum telling people your "strategy" in which preflop hands are all that matters. My op was the 3rd time I have posted in this forum, do a search for the other 2 and you will see why I would make the statement that I did.By the way, I do apologize for my drunken tirade last night. lol.PC
  8. I am sure glad this part of the forum exists, cause if I dont vent, I am going to be on permatilt. The past few days I have been 1 and 2 outed more than I thought was possible. In a tourney I was just playing, I had built a pretty nice stack and was sitting in 6th with 70 left. I raised in MP2 with 88, button miniraises and the bb calls, very nice pot developing so of course I call. Flop is 8K5. BB pushes for 2000 with KQo , I raise allin and button calls off all but 800 of his stack with JJ(!), by the way we are both about 20,000 deep with 400/800 blinds at this point, so he was not committe
  9. Don't pay any attention to xxEddie, somewhere along the line of his poker "career" he failed to learn the concept of post-flop play. He thinks as long as you have the best hand preflop, it doesn't matter what else happens afterward. Major components to a hand like flop texture and when the money goes in have no influence on his analysis. And for some reason, he likes to troll around this forum sharing this brilliant "strategy" with us. So if you find yourself with AA and a flop of 9d Td Jd and you don't have the Ad and 3 people go allin in front of you, just call anyway and if you lose just
  10. Genius!! Except that the money went in after the flop. If you consider the preflop hands to be the only thing that matter, than I guess it was a fair trade. However, there is this thing called postflop play that sometimes matters to.PCHere is the fair trade:pokenum -h td qd - ah ks Holdem Hi: 1712304 enumerated boardscards win %win lose %lose tie %tie EVQd Td 680246 39.73 1024669 59.84 7389 0.43 0.399Ks Ah 1024669 59.84 680246 39.73 7389 0.43 0.601pokenum -h td qd - ah ks -- 9d jh kc Holdem Hi: 990 enumerated boards containing Kc 9d Jhcards win %win

  12. I would definitley recommend the Harrinton book. It is by far my favorite poker book. I am already on my second time through it. I have been concentrating on tournaments lately, so it has really helped. Which by the way, I am thinking of letting go of my ring game books, so if any of you are thinking of purchasing those, let me know first and maybe we can work out a better deal than Amazon. Got to take care of the FCP'ers. I have most of the Lederer dvds too, so maybe somebody can kill a few birds with one stone, and I will do a package deal. Not trying to be a spammer or anything, but figured
  13. I am one of the 40 that is already on the site, and I hope ya'll do sign up. Although the traffic sucks right now, I can already tell you that the customer service is really good, I sent two or three emails and got a response within 10 minutes on all of them. Having that tourney on there would be a great way to get the numbers up. Glad I already won my seat to the Bellagio qualifier before all of you get there  . See you at the tables.PC
  14. I need to vent a little before my next touney, so I don't start out on tilt. I just went out of a rebuy tourney on pokerroom after playing 45 minutes and only playing 3 hands:Hand 1 - blinds 15/30 - 22 in the bb 3 callers, one guy mini-raises to 60 ,1 cold caller and sb calls, I call, other 3 call. flop is Ad 2s 6d. sb checks, i check, pf raiser bets 125, cold caller calls, and i check raise all-in,everyone folds, pf calls, cc calls, pf has AQ, and cc has K2d!! of course the flush hits. thankfully i beat pf to stay alive.hand 2:KK utg +2, raise 3x bb, guy with about 500 less than me, goes all-
  15. I had a similar feeling last night (minus the death threats). Putting aside the beat that is layed on me here, I don't know if I have ever seen a hand played worse than this one. Not only that, the person had a decent stack for where we were in the tournament, which I will now assume they picked up by going allin on the first hand and pulling something like this. Here it is:Blinds at 75/150 I am utg with KK, raise it to 3 1/2 x the bb, genius calls in third position and one other call. Flop is 4c Ts 6s. Figuring the pot is big enough, and wanting to push out the flush draws I push for about
