Lhe Books For The New Era

Recommended Posts

I've recently started making a comeback to online LHE and I've found the games quite a bit different than I left them. I've been playing mostly full ring .5/1 and some 1/2 and while I'm up some I have a feeling I'm playing far from optimally. Now, it's a been a while since I've read SSHE and I don't have access to it right now anyway, but I know the concepts in that book pretty well and I don't think they really apply very much to the current game online. Even at the low levels that I'm playing, the games are very tight and the play is rather different than I'm used to. Would anyone recommend any books that might help me with some concepts that could help me in this new environment? I feel like these games should still be beatable, but it might require playing a somewhat different style than I'm used to, in order to really play optimally.

I would suggest switching to 6 max and reading Stoxtrader's book "Winning in Tough Hold 'Em Games." If you stay at full ring, I'm not sure of any good books.

If you run at more of a lag style then this is definitely the way to go IMO.also, deucescracked.com is way better than any book I've read on LHE.And the challenge thread. with the exception of the overabundance of fruit, that is a great place to get help.
