Mercury69 3
So, last night I was playing one of those 5$ rebuy for the Bermuda double shootout. Top 10 get $175 tix to the shootout. I'm in for the minimum (buy-in + 1 rebuy + add-on). I played quite well for the first hour and was chipleader for a while. I could have sat pretty and I should have, but I got greedy and overplayed pocket 9's against a guy who trapped me with QQ w/ a Q on the flop. God, i'm stupid. I should have simply folded. Instead, i donked off half my chips on this hand and ended up getting blinded out.1.5 hours of solid play < 2 minutes of arrogance. Learn from this. I can only hope that I will remember the lesson. Aseldo 0
That happens to me all the time, usually when I can't get a decent starting hand for hours and finally get something decent like 9's, I overplay them and donk off my chips . I just need more patience.
