Resource Issues With Multi-tabling On Fcp

Recommended Posts

HeyaI have only 386Meg ram on my AMD 900 Duron processor. FCP often slows down a lot and sometimes freezes when I play two tables. Is there anything that I can do to improve performance? Obviously, getting more meory should help, but aside from that? Also, I'd have to take issue with the way the software controls the "active" table when multi-tabling. Yesterday, I was playing a cash table and a qualifier tourney at the same time. I'm in a hand on the cash table, but I'm on the tourney table trying to fold a hand when the cahs table pops up and I fold that hand instead, probably losing a $10-$12 pot (no biggie, but it's frustrating). Right after that, the tables started locking up and my comp had a brainfart, so I got knocked out of the qualifier when I was head's up. Ultimately, my complaint is: Why doesn't the software WAIT for the active table on top to receive it's command and THEN pop to the top. It's intrusive and a little confusing when it pops to the top, especially when you're about to hit a button to complete an action. PokerStars software does this successfully. Why not Pokerroom/FCP?Any feedback is appreciated.Regards,

Hi Mercury, the one suggestion I have is to make sure you offset the tables so that when one pops up the action buttons are on different spots so that they don't exactly overlap.
