haha its actually pretty funny, gordon is a fairly good player, but hes kinda goofy at the table, and does a couple of those "did you just check-raise phil gordon" stares? Moneymaker sorta proves hes no fluke by getting to the final table in a WPT event, especially one where he has a bounty on his head, i think he did...

Why? I'm just curious. This tourney in fact was proof that Moneymaker wasn't utterly a fluke. And I'm not saying he's amazing, but this tourney proved his one single WSoP wasn't the only thing he could ever do well in. Shooting Star gives bounties on all the Pros they decide to put bounties on. And Moneymaker was the only bounty to make the final few people.And Phil Gordon, well actually I won't get into it, there was a long thread on him recently. He's very solid is all I'll say.

thanx, i just remembered a 5 and 500 does sound a bit low, i also remember they kept talking to some guy about how he knocked out gus hansen like it was the greatest thing anyone had ever seen. I know gus has had a lot of success on the wpt but hes usually at the final table or out the first day.
