Finally! After a string of terrible beats at my local $1/$2 PL game I got paid off. My worst beat occurred a few nights ago when I potted preflop with AKs, flopped top 2-pair, and got nailed by a flush on the river. Normally this wouldn't be that bad a beat but he called my 5x BB preflop raise with Q4s. Hahaha.Anyways, last night from EP I raised to $10 with AA and got 5 callers (YIKES!) Flop came Q76 with 2 clubs. I bet pot ($62) got 1 caller. Turn completes flush, he puts me allin for another $30 more, I call and say "did you make your flush?" He says "no." River comes blank and he flips over 45 for the open-ender. Wow.Just feels good to get paid off again. Don't get discouraged when you get sucked out on, just remember those oh-so famous words "in the long run, the bad players will pay you off." Cuz that's true.
