microtech 0
I have been playing mostly NL since I started playing regularly in May. I have done fairly well but I am looking to play more LHE. So far I have faired ok but I am just looking for some advice on what change in mindset you need to be successful at LHE. I know this is kinda of wide open but I am a fairly new player and just looking for some suggestions.
Drwnded 0
It's a pretty different mindset, particularly at the low limits most people start with. If you try to use what you know from playing NLHE and jump right in at the low limits, you'll hate it, b/c you'll get the impression that you can't protect your hand and that you constantly get drawn out on by people holding ludicrous cards. B/c that's the way people play, there are strategies that are useful for punishing them and crushing these games - but they're very different from strategies you'd use for a NLHE tourney or ring game. Ed Miller and Lee Jones limit holdem books are very good places to start. Good luck.
