I just got Poker Tracker set up today, and up until now I never realized how much of the rake was being taken from each pot that I win.Playing the .50/1 tables I'm at +$82.25 with a rake of $21.25.. I'll never be able to beat the rake long term at this rate. I can't wait to get over to empire poker and get involved in a rake back program.

...i paid 1k in rake playing 3/6 5 max in august....mixed a little 5/10 in ..but mostly 3/6...i dunno how many hands i played tho...and yea, get rake back.- Jordan

Made me scratch my head.It takes money to operate a pokersite. Advertisements must be paid for. Servers must be paid for. Tech suport must be paid for. Oh and Mr Party must turn a profit so he can support his coke habit. Poker websites don't exist for the redistribution of wealth from fishes to eagles. They exist to make revenue. :wink:
