RDog 0
I know I saw Steve post something about Brett cashing in 40% of his MTT's and I think final tabling in about 10%. Just curious if anyone (or Steve if he sees this) knows what kind of numbers the rest of us should be looking at? Basically, what should be the goal for someone to be profitable in the long run. I have found that MTT's at the moment are the most profitable for me so I for the most part stick to them with some SNG's mixed in. My current cashing rate is 23% and 10% final table which has been very profitable for me but I think largely mainly to obviously catching breaks at the final table and being able to finish 1st or 2nd in much of the 10%. Not a huge sample size, but this is after approximately 150 tourneys. Thoughts?

Thoughts?this is entirely dependent on the size/buyins of the tourneys you're entering, as well as the structures.if you're playing a typical $5-10 online structure, with 15 minute levels and a 1500 starting stack and 3-500 entrants (low estimate there, though), i'd say that you can't realistically expect cash/final rates that high. there are simply too many landmines out there to dance around for too long of a time.30%/10% isn't unreasonable for that kind of tournament, i'd say. also, you need at least 1000 tourneys to have a reasonable estimate of your longterm results. RDog 0
Thanks. Yeah I figured I needed more tourneys to get a good idea. Yeah, that is one of my problems. Since I only play at night and on weekends I get in most nl tourneys that take place on Bodog and PP at that time so the buy ins and the number of people are all over the board. Sometimes as many as 2500, sometimes as little as 200.
