Anyone play kill games online? UB has them. I was wondering what changes to strategy should be made for these games. I was just in a kill pot with AA, early position player directly to my right raised and I reraised, and instantly thought this was a dumb move, which led me to wondering about these kill games.

Anyone play kill games online? UB has them. I was wondering what changes to strategy should be made for these games.None. There are VERY rare situations where when winning the pot will cause you to have to pay the kill blind, not betting a winning a hand can make more sense than getting an extra BB if you can avoid the pot getting to kill size, but that's a 1 in 10000 thing and is of trivial importance. I was just in a kill pot with AA, early position player directly to my right raised and I reraised, and instantly thought this was a dumb move, which led me to wondering about these kill games. Why would it be a dumb move?

I think my reraise made it glaringly obvious that I had a huge hand. I think that play loses a lot of value in most situations and it is magnified in a kill pot.
So what? Why does this suggest a big hand anymore that it would in a regular game?I play almost exactly the same as I would in a regular game, except that when I have the kill button, I fold marginal hands preflop that I would otherwise play, and I raise my blind-stealing standards somewhat.
