linkwood 0
Not sure what to do here. Button is new to the table and seemingly TAG. This is the first pot we've gotten tangled up in. SB is very loose, somewhat aggressive, so I don't put a ton of stock in his preflop flat call. I'm a LAG. I am known to take pots when people show weakness, do big bluffs, etc. But I don't believe that the button has seen that. The sb has though. A few questions:Should I have reraised pf?Should I have led the flop?Do I call the turn?Full Tilt PokerNo Limit Holdem Ring gameBlinds: $0.05/$0.106 playersConverterStack sizes:UTG: $9.40UTG+1: $10Hero: $12.35Button: $10.10SB: $18.60BB: $9.90Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is CO with A K 2 folds, Hero raises to $0.3, Button raises to $1.05, SB calls, BB folds, Hero calls.Flop: 7 A 8 ($3.25, 3 players)SB checks, Hero checks, Button checks.Turn: T ($3.25, 3 players)SB checks, Hero bets $2.5, Button raises all-in $9.05, SB folds, Hero?? Metternich 0
Should have raised on the flop, if just to better define your hand.As it is, I think it looks like a set or a weaker ace. I probably fold here, you can get it in better later.
Scott3705 0
Calls. Villian could play AQ and AK like this. He doesn't necessarily have you on a whole lot here and probably bets a set with the ace out there. As for the flop, there's nothing wrong with C/pushing this flop.
rdtedm 0
The only conceivable hands (that isn't played terribly/retardedly) that I can put button on here are AA and 10-10. He 3-bet you pf and then checked the flop. Makes sense with tens or aces, really.
sabes99 0
i think this is a call...he could have A-A or 10-10, other than that we have the best hand...we are ahead of his range in my estimation
jmbreslin 0
Definitely bet the flop against 2 villains.I keep coming back to this because I keep letting myself get burned. At these levels of play, big bets/raises usually mean big hands. Most low level players don't know how to extract value with big hands - they just get excited and bet big, hoping to get called. Yes you could be ahead here, but I'd say AA/TT are far more likely. Especially since he seems TAG. Honestly, way more often than not he'll flip over exactly the hand you don't want to see here.
