I prefer what we did last year. Some of us have to work, some others have school, and it would just be easier to do it that way again. No not yet. Please everyone give suggestions for what days work best for them if we do a live draft. We could do it like last years too though and just start drafting as soon as the keepers are put in and just do a round a day or whatever and give everybody x amount of hours to make a selection and if time runs out do a live draft for the rest of the draft a couple days before the season. I like this idea best cause if gives time to make trades for draft picks and gives more time to make draft decisions. -
I don't solely go by reviews, but Game Trailers is pretty good with their assessments of games. What the reviews do is that they give you a look at the game that you can't get from reading the back of the box, or from Game Informer. They are still a viable tool when selecting games, so long as you don't use them exclusively.I try to avoid reviews honestly. I understand how they can be useful to people who are deciding whether to spend their 60 bucks on a game but I play them all free anyway. Safer to form my own opinion. FEAR2 specifically. I played it through and actually really enjoyed it. Afterwards I checked out the reviews. They talked about the cut in and how the graphics were occasionally sub par. I didn't see any of that. But I bet if I had read the review first I would have been looking for it and it would have taken away from the experience. If that makes sense.Hopefully gunna finish off Halo Wars tonight and start Killzone tomorrow. See what happens. -
Street Fighter IV and Fallout 3 are both good choices. My brother gave me LEGO Indiana Jones for 360. I already have LEGO Star Wars so I'm not interested in playing through another one. Do you guys have any suggestions for new games? I'm not interested in a first person shooter but other than that I'm open for anything. -
it's not one of my favorite games either, but it can still be funHalo sucks. Like for real.
noticed that tooYou've been playing everytime I've signed onto XBL and levelling at a rapid rate! -
I noticed.Addicted to Mass Effect again, sigh. -
reaching a little far for the insults now, aren't you buddy?tell you what...when Rockhurst starts playing D1 then you can knock a bad season from SIUhey, hows the southern illinois basketball team doing this year? remember when you said they should be a final four caliber team every year? oh man, was that funny. -
I'm not sold on Killzone unless you own a PS3 exclusively. To me it looks like "just another shooter" with pretty graphics. I know the PS3 fanboys are creaming themselves thinking the game is next coming of god himself. I'm sure the game is great, but I don't think it's anything you can't find elsewhere.btw, here's are the reviews for Halo Wars http://www.gametrailers.com/player/45932.html and Killzone 2 http://www.gametrailers.com/player/45018.htmlKillzone 2 or Halo Wars?!? I'm so torn!! Will post thoughts on whichever one I choose.Edit: Played Halo Wars. Seems really short. Played for 2 1/2 hours and am on 7/15. Really simple but still fun. -
the one thing I hate about the gamethis sums up the online play really well

you're a lot closer than I am...it's just a 90 minute drive for you from MilwaukeeI would if I lived in Chicago -
I thought it was 150 AB's I'll get it changed.btw, your message on page 2 of this thread says AB's and not plate appearances...you might want to look into thatJustin Upton doesn't count as a rookie. He had 152 plate appearances coming into the season where the limit is 130. -

it's not one of those games that I play online, the Road to the Show game mode is a blastGet it so I have people to play with, ****. -
just start playing them, you will fail and probably fail a lot...I know I didhowever, there will come a time where it will "click" and you will wonder why the hard difficulty gave you a rough go in the first placeremember there is a "no fail" option in the options menu so you can just goof around on hardI can't even do hard yet. Stupid orange button throws me off. I mean, sure I could practice, but I've always had enough fun on medium, lol. Regardless, I couldn't pull it together by March 1st. -
excellent choice, although I'm not sure if there is enough new stuff for me to upgrade from 08Got my PS3, LBP is pretty much the nuts.Getting Killzone 2 next week as well as MLB 09: The Show when it comes out...I hear it's far superior to the 2k series so wee at having a PS3.Add me on PSN, my name is Tehtoe. -

no one comes in here anymore, but nice to see you again -
just keep at it, you will eventually get thereI started playing the games in April of last year, barely finishing songs on easy. I can now 5 star almost any song on Hard, and have 100% many songs on expert. I still have a long way to go before I reach the level of some of really good players, but I can definitely hold my own now.I have everything but the expert part down! Ugh, I really wish I was good enough! -
The Dekalb team and coach just made the "Persons of the Week" on ABC. It may be on again on ABC Nightly News later on tonight.

The fight stick definitely helps, but trust me it's not imperative to play the game. The analog sticks on the controller are more than sufficient to use if you want to play the game right away, and not have to wait for a fight stick. Also for moves that require all 3 punches or all 3 kicks, your LT and LB (L1 and L2 on the PS3) are allotted to those specific commands.Just be prepared for literally 95% of your online opponents choosing Ken...and no I'm not exaggerating. The game is definitely worth it, and there is so much little stuff that can keep you busy for a long time.

I only have 3 characters unlocked at this point. Even on the easiest level Seth still kicks the shit out of me.

I'd just bite the bullet, order it online, and wait a few days for it to come in the mail.I have a question though...how is this game compared to Forza/Gran Turismo?I want Race Pro so bad. If I could get Race Pro only if I couldn't get another game for the rest of 09 I would. Trouble is, because it is a game and genre not a lot of people get into, it's rarely available. Best Buy doesn't have it, Target will only sell it online and there is not one copy in any ebagames within 100 miles of my zip code. I really need this game.
