you play 48 hrs straight.... thats a long time to play poker. i got 17th in a deepstacks 30+3 the other day. its like getting kicked in the balls and then handed 200 dollars.i played in the poker stars 22$ 2500 starting chips tourny yest. it lasted a good 10.5 hours. everyone was getting tired so im used to playin like 2 days staright i had the advantage. i came in second and won about 1100$ it was the best tourny ive ever played sorry im braggin a little -
two ways to play it.conservative: shove in on him. Now, he'll be folding just about every hand that he would smooth call with preflop.I can't really picture him smooth calling with anything out of position that has you beat if he is a straight fundamental player. He's re raising with any big pair, AJ, 10 10 JJ and he should fold/move in with 33 imo. So, any drawing hand the he could call you will you wanna make too expensive for him.The other thing you could do is bet a standard continuation bet and hope he plays back at you. So, you would bet 3/4 the pot hoping that he either made an incorrect call with a drawing hand or re raises you on a bluff. It's a more risky play, and I don't see any reason to use it here. Just attack the flop and hope he doesn't have J10. I, personally, would be re raising with any other hand that has you beat pre flop.and if he is playing j3 then you should just kick him straight in the balls.

Position position position! You don't need cards when you have your stack of chips behind someone who's afraid of their own shadow. Especially if your table image is tight (which it should be if you're being dealt k9 off all the time), you should be in outstanding stealing/bluffing position fairly often. Nothing fancy, just increase your cutoff and button raises. If you've been put at 42 tables full of lunatics then I donno what to tell you. Go back to studying your game for a little and make sure there are not gaping holes in it. It took me like 350 sngs once to figure out that my bubble strategy was absolute Sh*t. Bad luck I called it. And don't post in general. That's for fat jokes and housewife gossip. Come here if you want to conduct business

I would like to just give you a profile of the villain before I post the hand: this guy was the biggest maniac I've ever seen (calling all ins with j7 and 68 when not even sniffing decent pot odds). Down to the final 18 in the deepstacks 30+3 nlhe tourny on stars. I was 6/17 with about 220,000. Villian was huge chip leader with about 555,000. blinds were 2-4,000Villain (cutoff): raises to 18,000Hero (bb): KJ (no spades) callsflop: K 6 8 (3 spades)Hero: bets 20KVillian: callsturn: 10 clubsHero: moves all inThis problem is more complex because of the player i was dealing with. I mean, he was Danny Nguyen on stupid pills. That being said, how do you, the council of players, analyze the hand?

entertaining, you should write one of these for each hour that i exist in this deep stacks 30+3 tourney. Am i the only person in the world who realizes you're not playing shove in when you have like 4500 in chips and the blinds are 50-100?haha i just doubled up to 9000.enough of this i dont want to steal any of the op's thunder. Most good players would have re-raised most of this crap with nothing and hauled the pot down.
