  1. I also dont like getting pot comitted with JJ. If the flop come K 2 3 Im almost positive one of them hits the K and if they did and I push I'm done. I think the standard raise to 3600 is the right one but I'll try to raise more and see what happens.
  2. alright one hand i had was J J with 7 players left and i was on the button. With blinds at 600/1200 with the avg stack at about 20,000 and I had 24,000. One caller came in from one seat before me and I raised it up to 3600. I got called by the bb and player before me. The flop came down 10 2 9 . It came check check to me and I bet out 5000 hoping to take the pot there. I got two calls and was dumbfounded. The turn came 3 and they both checked it to me. Now I figured one of them for A 10 and the other for a flush draw. I knew I couldnt get the out except for an all in, so I pushed
  3. Ok every two weeks or so we have a home game where we play nl hold em with 16 people with 10k starting chips and blinds start 50/100 and go up every 1/2 hour. Now the early stages are easy for me because I just play a lot of hands and trap all the donkeys for their money and I usualy come to the final table with 20k. Now comes my problem. The final 9 players are usually consisted of 7 donkeys and then theres me, and my really conservatively aggressive friend (who always ends up drawing the seat to my left which pisses me off). Nonetheless, I always seem to hit a roadblock at the final tab
  4. PredictionsMark Recchi - at least 70 pointsJohn Leclair - at least 30 goalsOk, we shall see by the end of the year what these guys do. I think Recchi still has something in the tank but 70 points? Not sure. LeClair will really surprise me with a 30 goal year. I know he has a ton of those but he is way past his prime.
  5. A Philadelphia team with a good name is unheard of. Anyway, I heard that no one can come close to getting season tickets since they singed Forseberg. Could be wrong but I tried and couldnt get them.
  6. Pens did a good job in signing a few of the Flyer's broken down fordwards. The signing of Crosby is huge, I admit, but its his first year. The Pens arent the top notch team like the Flyers are.
  7. Yeah I know many pros like to play more aggressive and sometimes I do, but there were a few aggressive players and I couldnt keep up with them. My hands were really sucking and every raise I made was getting called and/or re-raised.
  8. Ok so here it is. About an hour into a torunament, everyone started with 10k in chips and im down to 7000. Blinds 200/400 so i started playing a little more conservative. Heres how the hand goes down:Player UTG is very loose and raises to 800. Everyone folds to me on the button. I look down at an A9. Now I know the player who raised is very loose so I re raised to 2000. Maybe not the best play, but I did it. Blinds fold back to the player UTG. He thinks for awhile and decides to put me all in. I know he is weak and I immediatly call. I made a great read and he flips Q 10 off. Flop c
  9. Are you serious? Do you even watch hockey? Forsberg, Hatcher and Rathje are HUGE additions. Losing some of the older players and turning the team into a young team with a few seasoned veterans, they made all the right moves. Clarke did an excellent job here. Your brain must be messed up by all that new paint you're smelling.LOL...yeah I watch hockey. Do you? Do you know that Forsberg has necer scored more than 30 goals in a season? Do you know that derian Hatcher is slow and has played 14 games since the 2002-03 season? Do you know that they lost...Mark RecchiAlexei ZhamnovJeremy Roeni
  10. First off, it's FLYERS....but I'll let that one slide too.....Yeah that was messed up, sorry, 2 am makes even your favortie hockey team get misspelled. lol

  12. First off, its Clarke, but, fact being you hate the Flyers, Ill let it slide. Everyone attacks the Flyers goaltending, but Esche is a very capable goalie and Nittymaki is the future goalie who should have a breakout season this year or next year if he gets a shot. I didnt know much about Rathje, but I do like his size and ability. With the new rules in place, the Flyesr d should be one of the best in the league.
