supermoves

Someone brought this up, but our submissions are mostly just JPEGS, which means any logo chosen would be recreated by whoever DN's graphic designer is. Its probably unlikley that ANY of the logos will be used "as-is". Likley they will choose a few that they like and then play around with them a little....so Im not sure that touching up will make a big difference, I think the winner will be whichever design they choose to use as the "model".

Im not sure if its just me, but I cant view all the old replys...this thread WAS like 17 pages long, but when DN did his "update", it looks like he wiped it out and there are now only 2 pages...and none of those 2 contain said logo....

I cant seem to create this logo in a way that looks good, but Id be happy to share the prize if someone else could create it...how about a fist punching straight at you with "Full Contact Poker" either across the knuckles or on some sort of ring that he is wearing, with cracks around it...so it looks like its breaking your computer screen...hehe

Im not going to lie, if people are getting emails saying their logo has made it through to the next round, Im a little dissapoined. I thought there were some GREAT logos on this site, but too be honest, I was sure at least one of mine were in contention... :cry: :cry: :cry:

Hey Daniel, not that you need me to tell you this, but your decision to have the FCP Business Team choose the logo was a good idea. I have a little experience in this and there are a lot of aspects of a good logo that the general public is just not aware of. For example, there were quite a few logos that I just thought looked great, but were not scalable. In other words, they looked great in large, on-screen pictures, but simply were too complicated or detailed to be able to scale down to 1/4" to be put on a business card. Just kicking in my opinion.

So really youre just afraid to have them judged by us...youre afraid they might not stand up the rest of our quality logos...youre just a big CHICKEN...you and all your awards can just go jump off a bridge!! haha just kiddin...seriously though, lets us see, let us see...LOL...contest is over, we cant copy them..lol

Ya, its clear that not everyone knows about the intriacies of logo design..hehe. There are some logos here that are REALLY great on a hat or a shirt, or on the website...but when you scale them down to a business card, they will look like crap cause they are so detailed...its really hard to come up with a scalable design that will look REALLY good...

LOL but you just did it with one of them...was that because you took it and tried it on your host and it worked? Damn this whole hosting thing..I just want everyone to see my designs...lol

Hey guys, I still cant get the pics for my logo to show up...if someone wanted to be REALLY nice, could they possibly just copy the links into a post of their own, title it "Supermoves logos" and make them show up...thanks a lot to everyone for helping with this...

I was trying to post my designs on this site, but I couldnt figure it out...I tried the old "cut-and-paste" method, but it didnt work...how do you insert JPGs into this space?

First, does anyone know when we hear about who won? Second, there is NO WAY you have to put up your own $500 for the challange matches....but how funny would it be to get flown down there for free, hang out with daniel and all of a sudden, he's like "dude, you brought your 3K, right?" hahahaha.

I dont really get it either...one post says it goes "check, pat"..thats not how it works...both players bet, then they take their cards. Is there a link we can follow to the actual story?
