LoL, Holy smokes how old is this post?? I haven't been following Daniel for a while now but I am ready to get back on board.I think he Tweets way too much and should get back to Posting on this Blog. Looks the the traffic here has gone down big time.I remember a Time back in 06 where there would be 10 - 20 new posts per day. Oh my God. What a crazy Session I just had at my local Casino. Let me start off by saying I am an MTT online player who occasionally goes to the casino for live 5-5 no limit Holdem. I enjoy it once in a while but the slow action is too boring to be a regular. Anyway, yesterday I drive up and sit down in the 5 - 5 NL game. Great action and alot of young degen's who obv just recently took up the game and shooting way to lose for this game. I buy in for 300 and slowly work it up to about 1200 in a matter of 3 hours. One of the younger kids has about 3 g's and is raising every pot. You know the Type, Hat Slanted, baggy Pants and some Basketball Jersey I can not make out. He raises 3 times and a monster POT gets played out where I have 22 on the PUCK, raise another Kid re raise,Old Scary looking man flats and two others flat. Anyway FLOP 2, A, K. Kid opens Another kid raise Old man flats and I flat, Original kid reshoves for 3 G"S, old man Calls WTF. Oh well If i ran into a set I lose. So I call my whole remaing 1 g. Kid turns over KK, Old man turns over AA and I turn over 22. FML........ Turn 3, so close!River 2 !!!!!!!!!!!! NO &*^$%^ Way....................ooohhh Ahhhh People from the rail Scream as I slowly collect about 4 and a half G's... Didn't count to be honest just stacked..I river Quads, was SICK. This is when it happens man. I dont say anything and start collecting my chips when The old man looks at the young kid and says " You are a BAstard" Kid is in Shock and mubbles BAck " Go and CROKE OLD MAN!"Not a moment later the man stands up and starts breathing heavy, he puts his hands out as if to grab the punk and lets out the most GASTLY scream I ever heard! THUMMMMMP falls on top of the POKER TABLE and TURNS BLUE! The man was bluer then the BLue man group. Very Scary. Someone screams get a doctor but nobody is coming for like 40 seconds??? There is an iweery silence at this point as everyone is in shock. YOung Kid blurts out " I didn't mean it man" Cryingly!FML, I am not gonna watch this old man crock so I get up flip him over and start doing CPR. I pump his Breast 3 times and then Breathe 3 times, pump 3 times and breathe 3 times. VEry Nasty kissing an old man but what can I do. Have to try right. After about the 4 th attempt I feel him spit up in my mouth. NASTY I jump up and I see a rush of blood come up his face and he opens his eyes and says I'm alive! Holy Smokes.. People start cheering and I see cops come in from behind and grab me and START PULLING on my LEG just like I am PULLING ON YOURS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Thought you guys could use that today:)

Ok Daniel, I am gonna set a challenge out for you. You love Fantasy Hockey more then anyone I have ever seen. You also love the NHL more then anyone I have ever seen. So why don't you set yourself a GOAL. Longterm OBV of lets say 20 years to own (even a small percent) a Major Hockey team? Could be AHL or NHL but NHL preferably.Questions are.What are the chances (percentage wise) of your Poker and other investments allowing this goal to come true?How long would it take?Would you give up all your time and devote it to running a Hockey Club?Thoughts people........Imagine Daniel Owning a team and FCP members get free Box seats..LOL

Ivey did all he could, if he wins that RACE with a8 vs 33 then he is gonna run over the table. He also loses AK to AQ that would have given him another shot! All in all I still think it was a good bet. DARVIN MOON Is the worst player I have ever seen in my life. THose two early bluffs will go down in history as the worst ever. He is truly a Donk who is getting hit by the DECK! GG Ivey.

Who is better? Jamie Gold or Darvin Moon??? Good question really but watching Darvin moon play poker, I can't help but get the feeling of a Donk that is getting HIT BY THE DECK like a frieght train? 40 million chip pot and you insta call thinking you can only be beat by an ACE high flush WHEN THE BOARD IS PAIRED? Mind you I think the other guy is a fool for pushing but MOON got so lucky there. I think Gold has better poker skills not by much then MOON.DAmn Ivey is giving 6.8 to 1 now? Should have waited, oh well good luck all. Ps. I think that MOON bet getting to top 3 is ok but he is really bad. Suprised if he makes it that far.....

Great back and forth guys but back to the TOPIC at hand. IVEY will crush the final table. After watching the last few episodes of WSOP I am more confident then ever that IVEY will win this thing. All he needs is one double up and he will run the table. MOon is by far the worst player ever to final table with the chip lead. Nothing against the guy but the way he played the JQ hand was TERRIBLE! He didn't even realize that the board was paired? WTF. Ship the $1650 BABY!

You guys that are still arguing against the bet seriously need to CHILLAX. Daniel Negreanu who I am sure knows a little bit more then the rest of us regarding Short stack play/final table/ivey's edge etc, just said he would take IVEY at 3.8/1 to win it all. NOt talking about a must win but straight up! "I think Ivey is like 3.8 to 1 to win this thing and I'm not kidding in the least"Obviously nothing in the gambling world is a sure thing but when you have a short handed game and a guy with IVEYS exp/reading ability/short handed expertise/comfortable fianacial situation etc, then you would be crazy not to take him at 5.5 to 1!I also agree immensely with whoever wrote that the other 8 maybe Shulman excluded will DEF be looking to move up the money ladder. Phil will get easier steals then normal and if he can get to 20 million, I agree with Daniel, GAME OVER!300 to make 1650.....ONE TIME!!!! -

GUys think about it like a 9 man SNG and Ivey has half the average stack. 1 hand and he is above average. Factor in that all other 8 players are going to be trying to move up the money and IVEY can exploit them all. It is a great bet at 5.5 to 1. Better then even for sure with his skill level. ps. is that video REAL where he mucks the winning hand? CRazy if so..

Looking to get your thoughts on Phil Ivey getting 5.5 to 1 odds to win the main event. I am hoping he wins obv but is his chip stack to low? I am laying 300 to win 1650 and it will make watching the FT that much more exciting. With his low chip stack yet obvious skill EDGE, what are your thoughts on me winning this bet?????????

Ok so here goes in point form...- Arrive in vegas and not to buzy but taxi driver begging for tip from first moment. Lot of lady taxi drivers. Give her 5 bucks she is ready to have my baby wtf?-Stay at the MGM grand. Nice hotel but alot of families and cheap ass immigrant familıes that are bringing lunch to the pool homemade?WTF- Hit the Bellagio which is the best casino by far but they are runnıng $10 BJ tables all night and attracting a cheap crowd!- Play the $540 nl holdem event a 2 pm on friday. 54 runners. PLay solid and final table as a short stack. Chip leaders HOt ass GF comes and says are you done yet we have reservations at 10 pm? Chip leader offers us a chop 9 ways. WTF . I say ok and one chinese fool is hagglin and we jump all over his dumb ass and he agrees. Tourney director says its not allowed so woman player who won the wpt ladies event blonde older lady says everyone just let brıtısh dude win. Long story short İ collect 3 gs.Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet- play venetıan $500 next day and a bıg turnout of about 75 runners and run 8 8 ınto 10 10 on a 2 8 10 rainbow out ın 30th or so. Venetian has good action and alot of tourists- place $1000 bet on miami to cover they do. woo hoooooooooo- hıt the hardrock casınoö holy smokes hottest dealers ever there. Play $500 BJ three spots and run ıt up to about 3g,s. Get drunk and give it all back playıng 3 spots of 100. Walk away wıth 7 bills- put 7 bills on red and fml it comes BLACK!- play Bellagıo event next day and final table. Aj vs a9 on a j 9 2 board. DONK shoves for 100 gs and I snap call. He turns the case nine as someone said they folded k9. HE says thats poker. i say thats not poker you clown its called ROULETTE you fool. Out in 8th for a measely $595Overall Vegas looks down. Dealers are very sad lookıng and vengeful like i am winning theır money. Not as buzy as before but stıll a large amount of donks that are willing to play poker. Wether is the best as always. You can count on no rain and 35 degrees for sure!

Hey Daniel, so sorry about your mothers predicament. It is really an unfortunate situation and I admire the way you have handled it man. Honestly you seem to be so composed in a situation that seems unbearable! She seems to be the most important person in your life and I send my best wishes to her. My wife and I met you and her at the PCA and you were were making us and her laugh. If you want a Nice Home cooked Turkish vegetarian dinner let me know as my wife is the best Turkish cook in Canada:)God bless:)

It could mean Indian, Pakistani, Russian , Mongolian as there are so many different ethinicities from Asia. When you say Oriental it narrows it down to people of Chinese decent? I think Daniel should Post more and have more Incentives. remember when he used to have the " Weekend in Vegas with Daniel " Give aways.
