  1. I would have preferred them showing the events in the order in which they were played. I have no problem waiting for the main event buildup. It was kind of lame that everyone's congratulating Phil at the table on his 10th bracelet when they haven't even shown it yet.Kind of spoils it for people who wanted to watch the TV coverage and haven't followed the boards.

  2. - With a field of over 8700, Jen Harman loses to the SAME dude who busted her last year. The one who slow-rolled her last year. At least this year he was humble about it.- Sammy Farha goes out early with a hand similar to DN vs Gus. He has the better trips (999 vs 666) after the flop but the other guy gets a miracle fourth 6 on the turn.- Poor Phil. His makes his usual late appearance. Then on his very first hand, he gets JJ vs someone else's QQ. He makes a great laydown after the flop when the other guy bets into a board where they both had overpairs. Then the VERY next hand, he gets KK, and another dude gets AA. He shoulda been busted on that hand but the other guy played his aces way too slowly, until a str8 threatened. Then the hand that knocks him out (AQ vs 77), is the EXACT same hand that knocked him out last year. Some whacky stuff.

  3. Typical BS postSince the data for other people's hands isn't sent to your computer until the hands are revealed, it's kind of impossible to be able to know what they have, regardless of what software is running on your comp.duh.

  4. Phil and his sidekick Ali ruined it for me.I really wanted to just listen to the players and watch the action. Instead I was stuck with listening to continuous inane commentary pointing out stuff that was already obvious, or making guesses that turned out to be wrong more times than not, countless interviews which, although would be interesting at other times, took away from watching the action, and the stupid "rock paper scissors" contests. Half of the time I couldn't tell what the bets / raise amounts were because the commentators refused to give me that info. And the live crowd had that info beause the announcer there was telling them what was what, but I couldn't hear the damn announcer because Phil and / or Ali were blabbing on about something else.It felt like amateur hour.Having digital cable, it would be a neat option to just turn off the commentary but keep the sound feed to the players on. That would have made it so much more enjoyable for me.

  5. I didn't pay $25 to have these commentators go on and on about everything but the action. When they actually DO comment on the action I don't need Phil Gordon's "expert" analysis on every single facet. Especially when he's wrong more than half the time. I'm tired of hearing how "surprised" he is when he guesses wrong about what the next play is going to be.I would LOVE to hear what the players are actually SAYING.

  6. Okay, let me ask a question. What exactly does the Bellagio poker room look like? Are there a bunch of typical tables and all of a sudden in the corner is the Big Game? Are there certain sections to it?
It looks like a normal poker room. Bobbi's room is a separate room in the center of the poker room along the back wall. So the regular poker room kind of wraps around it. Bobbi's room is enclosed, but it's enclosed with glass so you can see into it.When I was in Vegas right before Memorial day weekend I played the 2/5 NL game right next to Bobbi's room. Saw Daniel, Jennifer, Eli, Doyle, Chip Reese, David Williams, Chau Giang, David Benjamin.
  7. Banks deal with identity theft and unauthorised accessing of peoples accounts all the time. They should give you your $10,000 back because it was an unauthorised withdrawl. They will certainly go after the kid if they give you your $10,000 back.
Good luck with that :club: Go to an insurance company and tell them your car was stolen after you drove it to the bad part of town, unlocked all the doors, and left the keys in the ignition. Let's see if they pay you.
  8. So let me get this straight...You leave your laptop behind for kids to play with, unprotected without any passwords. You leave party poker unprotected, so that anybody can just bring it up, start using it, adding funds, etc. Then you get mad at your bank, and then expect party poker to somehow just give you your money back?LOLCry me a river.

  9. From the Complaint:===================57. For example, WPTE markets the "World Poker Tour" video game which competes with, among other things, the "World Championship Poker" line of video games co-Plaintiffs Howard Lederer, Annie Duke and Greg Raymer each have licensed to Crave Entertainment, Inc - which manufactures and sells the "World Championship Poker" video games - the exclusive right to use their names, likenesses, images in conjunction with Crave video games. WPTE, however, upon information and belief, has used video footage of Messrs. Lederer and Raymer and Ms Duke playing in the WPT tournament as part of its "World Poker Tour" video game. The co-Plaintiffs were never notified by WPTE of this fact, nor did they receive any compensation for WPTE's coercive use of their intellectual property rights.58. Another example is provided by WPTE's exploitation of the intellectual property rights of co-Plaintiff Phil Gordon, who is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Expert Insight, a company which markets instructional poker DVD's and books among other things. In connection with Expert Insight, Mr. Gordon and co-Plaintiff Andrew Bloch run the "Las Vegas Academy" poker fantasy camp, where interested poker and blackjack players can pay for instruction from Messrs. Gordon and Bloch. WPTE runs its own poker fantasy camp - "World Poker Tour Boot Camp" - which is a head-to-head competitor with the Las Vegas Academy. Upon information and belief, WPTE has used video footage of Mr. Gordon playing in WPT tournaments - without his prior knowledge or any compensation - to promote its World Poker Tour Boot Camp.If the above 2 scenarios are indeed true, then I have to side with the plaintiffs. That's WAY over the top IMO and should be stopped. I only hope the plaintiffs tried to get this done quietly with the WPT before the suit got filed.
