  1. Ted Forrest Loses Three-way PotHal Labarsky raised 3,200. Ted Forrest called. A player from the button re-raised to 21,000. The big blind raised to 47,000. Labarsky folded. Forrest went into the tank before he called.Seat 1: A-KSeat 3: A-AForrest: {J-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}The flop was {10-Spades}{8-Clubs}{3-Spades}. The turn was the {3-Clubs}. The river was the {6-Hearts}. The player holding pocket Aces tripled up. Forrest took a hit and his stack slipped to 172,000.Labarsky folded 3-3. He would have flopped a set and turned quads.
    Bad call by Forrest.
  2. Michael Craig (writer, who does a blog for Full Tilt) has 3 entries already just on this subject:http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/poker-blog/(#199-201)
    From his blog:
Just for fun, I may take some calls from Jo Anne while I play on Monday. She's in a different state so it's impossible she'll have information to give me from which I can gain a benefit in the hand. If I don't hold up play and I can show that my wife is in Arizona, and record the call to show it had no poker content, I don't see why they can't rule in my favor.
    Craig's an idiot.
  3. Despite what others say, I appreciate the updates. Don't listen to the haters.
Nah, I don't listen to the loser haters. I just happened to notice the chip counts on cardplayer and thought some folks here would like to know.
  4. Hm, very tempting to start getting insulting now, but, whatever. You opened a pointless, stupid thread, that got even more pointless just a few minutes after opening it. Why don't you just go **** yourself instead or something?
Uh, Chan was 3rd in chips with 23 people left. That's significant. I thought people might like to know. Duh.So exactly what was pointless and stupid about it except your lack of comprehension of even basic English?Again, get yourself a dictionary, and maybe someday you can converse like an adult, using grownup words like "celebrate" in their proper context.
  5. Well, you were rooting for him, weren't you? Just saying, talking about winning a tournament with 20 players left is a bit early, at least wait until the final table.
LOL, so in your world rooting and celebrating is the same thing???Buy a dictionary.
  6. wow. just wow.listen, there are a lot of variables in the world and some of them change throughout time. one thing that you can count on, though, is that people will spend enormous amounts of time and energy thinking of ways to accumulate money. does it really make sense that everyone would play weak tight and not adjust their style? also, when you see ungar play can you honestly say he would not run over tables today?
Doesn't matter. The guy had deep personal problems that killed him. He therefore is not the best ever. Being able to control yourself is all part of the game. If Tiger Woods had killed himself after winning 5 or 6 majors, few people would be saying he was "the best ever". You have to actually prove it. Phil has.
