  1. Larry Flint Owner of the Hustler Casino, Penthouse Magazines, They play 7Stud 4000-8000 every Sunday at Hustler, Phil, Ted, Barry and couple other rich guys, and he likes PLO but he cannot hold the cards do to his disablity, so the easiest way is to play on the computer.

  2. Some of you guys are unreal, We as readers should be glad that Marchione would take the time to relay some of the on going action at The Aussie Millions. But instead you try and pick him a part.Even Daniel took a stab at his creditability.Daniel semi confirmed that Jen's kid may have took ill. But doubted the guy about Ivey in the High Roller Section.Just read it for what is worth, and hope the guy keeps reporting more as the week goes on, because some of us are not there. It is well known that Ivey is a High Roller (not a whale), and he loves to roll dice at enormus limits along with Baccrat. If you remember reading the stories about Ted Forrest and Dice Games, Ivey would make your head spin, he wins big and he loses big.For example: About a month ago Highstakesdb.com report Ivey won $547,000.00 in the Thunderdome on Fulltilt in about 90mins I watched and I'm sure some of you did also. When I seen him at Larry Flint game at the Hustler that following Sunday. One dude was congradulating him about the two hours of work he put in, Ivey laughed and said "Yeah thanks, but they did'nt report I lost it the next day". And did'nt even miss a beat. The title of the original post did say "A Little Gossip From Aussie Millions". It's not like he said breaking news like they do while you are watching TV. 'WE INTERUPE YOUR TELEVISION BROADCAST TO BRING YOU BREAKING NEWS" This just in. this just in, we have confirmed that Phil Ivey, a well known Poker player from Las Vegas has just bet $300,000.00/hand in Baccrat in Austrailia, once again we have confirmed people. We have a reporter standing by, now lets hear from our reporter Norman Chad. via satellite.

  3. One day you can find him playing 2-5 NL. and the next day you might find him inside Bobby's Room at Bellagio playing 1000-2000 mix with other peoples money. One thing to remember if that river card had been a spade it would have been a whole different storyI think he's going to be Poker After Dark Monday 1/14/2008He's a very entertaining person that has skills other wise he would not be able to get staked in High Limit games, WPT 25k, 15k Five Diamond, 10k Main, 50K Horse, etc. If you think thats something, wait until you run across another well known WPT and high limit player Casey Kastle, ( I think thats his last name). In the 10-20 or 10-25 NL games he buys in for 600 at a time and goes allin preflop five or six times in a row if he hits and doubles up he's stays, if he loses he will say something like "this table is to cold for me" and go to another table and do the samething. almost as if he is playing blackjack or something. You just have to love it. But when he hits, it could be your worst nightmare. If you think someone is playing donkish, do not encourage them to play better, buckle up and go along for the ride, normally those are some of your most profitable sessions. And please do not dog them in the forums without knowing exactly what type of people they are or what they stand for

  4. The Bike canceled the whole Live At The Bike Production months ago and tore down the stage and expanded that part of the casino for more Stud tables. As for the regulars:The annoucers: Bart Hanson primary works for prradio@pokerroad.com, he also does live commentary for Pokerstars and last year he did some live commentary at WSOP/Bluff online Dave Tuchman as you've heard did the commentary for for the Full Tilt Million Dollar Cash game thats currently being shown on SkyTv or Pokertube.comEz Money Mo is still the host for the big No limit games thereCorperation Mike, is still Corperation Mike two or three days a weekAll the regulars from Live AT The Bike still come in and play. Now The Bike spreads 1-2 PLO $100min buyin and a 5-5 PLO $500min buyin average buyin $2500 thats off the hook. The 5-5 PLO game plays bigger than the 5-10 NL.

  5. Now we are seeing the effects of WPT giving exculsive media coverage to one company (Cardplayer Inc.)There is no coverage for the prelim events which had great final table with a lot of great players, and with the POY leader David Pham at another final table you would think they would have reporters there. And they are based in Las Vegas (Go figure)Instead they update the website with the chip counts and winners two or three days later. Not to mention the $5000 event from Sat. 12/8/07 as of today Tues 12/11/07am still has not been updated and I hear it was a stacked final table. This is why I agree with other media outlets, It is not good for the game when the said company mentioned above does not provide up to the minute coverage, and they call themselves "The Leading Poker Authority".The Five Diamond at Bellagio prelims has always been the best events to cover and they had great numbers and great final table action and we missed it all, unless you were there. Congrads to Pokerxfactor.com that lets it members send live text updates from there phone. Thanks to Bax, Sheets, BeLoWaBove, and all the others.I get more information from Shannon Shorr blog. Thx to him also.Just venting some frustration since I was not able to play any prelims this year, but I will play the main event on Thurs.

  6. I've heard rumors that the 2008 WSOP is moving to Ceasar's Palace on the strip. Because the convention center is larger and closer to table games, forum shops, etc.I was reading a article somewhere, it stated "Pit bosses are upset that there is 4000-5000 people, a 1/2 mile down the hall, around a couple of corners, with plenty of money, and they can not touch them".Has anyone else heard or read anything relating to this.

  7. As usual, I'm planning a business trip around poker tournaments. I am heading out to LA this weekend and would love to play the $300 unlimited rebuy tourney at the Commerce on May 6, 7pm. Anyone play this last year? If so, how was it? Structure? Most importantly, does anyone have a good estimate of how long that tourney took last year (there were around 550 people, unlimited rebuys for 3 levels)? Of course, I may go out on the first hand after the rebuy period ends, but need to figure out if I can make my meetings on Monday in the unlikely event that I go deep. Thanks all.
Normally they would play until 3:00am or the final table which ever came first. But since the tourny starts @7:00pm and they do not have the disclaimer in fine print, they are probably going to run straight thru, which would take @ 14-15hrs.I would call the casino Friday day 1 after 5:00pm ask for tourny registration. (323)721-2100Structure: 1000 starting chips, 40 min rounds, $300 rebuy for 1000 chips, single or double add-on at the break regardless of how many chips you have.25-2525-5050-100100-200100-200- 25 ante150-300 etc.P.S. Remember, no one folds Ace-rag at the Commerce or The Bike :club:

  10. You will not see Men The Master at any final tables for awhile. While at the Bicycle Casino last night there was a heavy amount of under cover officers there.apperently Men severly beat his wife a couple of weeks ago and fled to Vietnam, and they got word from one of his horses he might return to the Bike and play some of the smaller events. No show.If he is still in Vietnam, that's probably the best place for him where his bad attitude is toleratedHe not only beats up players, (Bellagio last year), he berates dealers and floor personnel, and he beats his wife also. When and if he returns and gets locked up, I wonder if he will still wear those 4-5 inch high heel shoes, and say "All You Can Eat Baby". In return he might be the one doing the eating.Any information contact: Bell Gardens, CA Police Dept.California has very strict laws with spouse abuse, #1 leader is Gloria Allred, Attorney at Law

  12. On Thursday Pokernews.com wrote about someone checked themself out of a mental hospital just to play in this tourny,And was sitting a the table for quite sometime after busting out starring into space.I assume it was Dutch after the way he has acting. In the Pokerwire interview with Daniel. Dutch stated "he just just got of the joint on Wed."

  13. Cardplayer mentioned a fight during tourney over the weekend and no one stop playing.Last night I was at The Bike and the floor man informed us that Men The Master hit a guy over the head with a beer bottle, and when the guy retaliated, three of Men The Master's crew jumped on the guy. Then the Bellagio security whipped Men's crew ***, threw them out, and barred Men The Master and crew from Bellagio.P.S. Check with some of local people and get more information and update.
