7/1 - Public EnemiesJohnny Depp stars as legendary bank robber John Dillinger and Christian Bale is the G-man on his tail in this true crime drama directed by Michael Mann. I feel like crying with anticipation. Anything Michael Mann does is awesome. I even loved Miami Vice.

very good movie...balwdin was good, but woods was sick good...Recently watched Ghosts of Mississippi, a movie from about 15 years ago. It was quite good, and not overly sympathetic or cheesy. It's about the 1994 retrial of Byron De La Beckwith, who assassinated Medgar Evers in Mississippi in 1963, but was not convicted as his trial and subsequent retrial (back in the 60s) both ended in hung juries. Anyways it stars Alec Baldwin, Whoopi Goldberg, and James Woods, who was nominated for an Oscar for it. Bottom line: highly recommended. -
ainecalso a big mitch mitchell fanI couldn't pin it down to one single person. I look up to a lot of different drummers like obv Buddy Rich, Keith Moon, Stewart Copeland, Pert, Elvin Jones, Max Roach and I always get a hard on when Shannon Larkin plays live.lol and my "Bozzo" was completely unintentional but awesome at the same time. -

i liked ddl in gangs a hell out of alot, but i gotta say deniro in bull is on another level..and im not even all that big of a deniro guy<obv im a pacino guy> to say that roarke trumped bobby d's prefromance is saying alot...i have to see it for myself ...i like eastwood alot too, but i dont find him diverse enough to say how great he is...must be hard playing the tough guy every movie...im not saying that he isnt good, i just dont know if we have seen alot of range from him..Hyperbole much? Its just, Deniro in Raging Bull is either the best, or second best performace in movie history, depending on how you feel about DDL in Gangs of New York. -

agree to disagree....when in rome.....Yeah, I guess. I don't like NetFeuds, in general. I will say, however, that I thought your responses were at least as douchey as mine and certainly quite patronizing, which amuses me.YOU DON'T KNOW ME!McDouche -
wow a jokey joke...nice...truce? love u lots....I( don't remember him from the Godfather -
helmsleyI prefer to hope that's your penchant for sherm... -
seriously bro put the laptop down and go outside and try to get laid...it seems you are all backed up...why do i picture you driving a panel van wearing flip flops and a rush t-shirt with a bad accent....try to laugh more, it helps...dont worry screech, im sure it will turn around soon enough...No, I think it's got more to do with the fact you don't know how to apply quotes and context at the same time. It take a few brain cells for that. The cannolli has a bigger IQ and better taste than you.Love, Douchey McDoucheDouche -
it was supposed to be similar enough to infer i was referencing the gf quote...miss again? i tend to do that..maybe its my senility?I'm familar with the Godfather quote " I was making my bones when you were going out with Cheerleaders" I'm not sure what yours is refrencing.. -
lol naa...was just makin a jopke that nobody got..its cool..i respect his opinion and his right to be a douche all he wants....obvLOL Ivey fan came back to FCP ready to rumble. -
yeah, im not shocked you missed the reference..most ppl with no sense of humor are very angry little ppl...so carry on good sir....Saying "no" isn't an opinion. Discussion and argument are predicated on dialogue. And wtf does "making my bones" mean? Are you so old that you're senile? No, I just think you're drunk and irritating. -
Anyone who doesn't love "In the Aeroplane over the Sea" is objectively a bad person.

and you dont get to bust on me, i bust on you...i was making my bones when guys like you where still sucking on their moms tit...you cant come into ot and take to a man like iveyfan30 that way....Arguable, you bet. I love the 60's: Beatles, Motown, garage rock, the psychaedelic era, etc. Definitely a hot one. As for Arena rock, I tend to think of Led Zep, Pink Floyd and the Eagles, which is fine by me. There was plenty that sucked in the 70's, no question, but that's pretty much the case in every decade. I was primarily busting on the "no" dude for not coughing up an opinion of his own, which is just lame. -
why all the hostility? the small penis thing? yeah..id be mad too...why not just disagree and leave it at that ? why be a c unt about it? i think the 60s are by far more superior than the 70s..but its an opinion...shrug...hurry up and reply, im on the sdge of my seat...Yes, the '70's as Best Musical decade is arguable, but to simply say "no" is retarded. What decade would you pick? The '90's? <laff>The '70's:Plenty of holdover 60's stuff, disco, prog rock, the birth of arena rock, the birth of metal, the birth of punk/indie, art rock, etc. The 70's are also arguably the best decade in film history...So take your "no" and shove it. -
have played catch with tim raines met cindy crawford and rob schneider in the same day in the orlando airport. they flew in for the orlando opening of planet hollywoodhave made 2 holes in one, with witnessesthrew a no hitter in a little league all star game when i was 12i was thrown out of mandaly bay as a result of being drunk and rude to a pit boss with a bad toupee..even tho my suite was payed for 2 more nights and it was like 5 in the morn..my wife was very pissed ,we had to go to cesars ..got to drink with rick flair and harlem heat in a crappy little dive bar in philly like 5 years agome and the wife had a drink with nick cage while he was filming that national treasure bullshit movie he did in philly..he was a nice guy, but all coked out and really rough lookingfound a banking envelope with like 700 bucks in it in a parking garage right next to my car like 7 or 8 years ago.met tiger woods at a hooters right before he became a mega stargot to watch shaq break dance battle some guys at zuma beach club in orlando back when he played for the magicwow..pretty unintresting stuff....

noDon't worry, El Guapo. Not everyone knows or even likes Vampire Weekend. My favorite albums of all time will vary somewhat dependant on mood, but here's a few:Genesis - The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway (this hit my prog rock sweetspot while I was a teen)Danny Gatton - 88 Elmira Street (once again, the best guitarist you've never heard of)Radiohead - OK Computer vs The Bends (depending on what mood I'm in, but the bottom line is that these are two of the finer mainstream albums of the '90's)Steely Dan - Aja (start to finish, one of the best albums from the best dcade in music: '70's)David Bowie - The Man Who Sold The World (an incredibly rocking album, with some weird songs for the geek in me)Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention - Roxy and Elsewhere (just an incredible album played live by an incredible band directed and emceed by the incredible Frank Zappa; an underrated album, yet a masterpiece of virtuosity in progressive composition)The Beatles - Rubber Soul/Revolver (these two albums come right before Sgt Pepper and fuses trippiness and pop jewelry into true psychaedelia)... -
