(4BB, 2 players)econ_tim checks, UTG bets, econ_tim raises, i usually just c/r the flop, but sometimes i switch up my play. now that i got a good turn what do you think of c/r-ing a tight and possibly weak opponent?
-
sup?
-
i'm doing fine for june, considering that i'm probably playing less than 100 hands a day would be doing better if i hadn't lost that $1,000 pot in a live NL game
-
good catch on the odds to draw to a set but i will still have 7 outs even when someone turns a set, so is think hands like 55 are still making a mistake calling the flop

bonuses at first then winning + bonuses then winning + bonuses + rakebackJust curious how everyone started and built there bankroll for online poker. Im just a casual online player and university student who usually builds from 50 to 4 or 500 and makes consistent cashouts. Just wondering how everyone got started and how they built up. -
i'm beating 10/20 for 37BB/100my goal is 40BB/100hi. -
what's up? someone playing 100/200?
-
yes, but you have to be able to beat the game soundly while multitabling. and you'll probably need rakeback if you don't like playing lots of tables.I saw abbaddabba posted that at 5/10 6max a player can easily make $100 per hour. This true? -

3-betting preflop is still good even if no one will fold. postflop you should raise one of the streets.
-
at first i was worried about a c/r, but i think villain is check/calling most hands here, e.g. AT. maybe he will c/r Kx, but why wouldn't he do that on the turn? so i think the question boils down to assigning the villains calling range and seeing whether you beat <50% of it. i think it's a bet.
-
Here's to hitting two-outers. For my next trick, I will win 100BB in 200 hands.
-
betting the river may be better.
-
is that don mattingly? i have been away too long.Ron Mexico is a forum god -

i don't see much value in a river bet unless UTG shows down too much
-
nah. we just have to think that at least 1/8th of players would.True enough, but I think we need a read that he will keep pushing w/o a pair. -
Just having a little fun. Haven't read general in ages, so I'm probably missing lots of "very special episodes."
