  1. I feel your pain. If my AA doesn't improve to trips or quads they have a high propensity for getting cracked by some donkey. My least favorite hand is A/J. Its a tough hand to play before the flop with a raise in front of you or if you get re-raised by a good player. You are also going to face more difficult decisions on the flop with that hand than you will with AK or AQ.
To answer that question Ice. Mostly what's been happening is I'll get my money all in after the flop the past couple of times with the hand and someone will call with a closed end straight draw. I know I could be more conservative with the hand, but when the flop comes out rags and you lose with it. It's tough to play slow for me.
  2. Pocket aces. I lose more money and more pots with this due to being outdrawn, when getting my money in with the best hand. The past couple of days I've gotten this hand cracked at least 4 times to awful hands such as ace 4 offsuit and jack 10 offsuit, and this is to large pre flop raises.
How much of your money did you get in when you were behind? Ice
I don't quite understand what you mean. I suppose that after the flop I make another large bet mostly to be outdrawn, when I'm still ahead in the hand.
  3. I've only played a handful of multis so my best finish is 24th in Party's most recent Friday Special which got me $1008
dang man 24th paying that well. That's an awesome accomplishment in my eyes. What was the buy in?
  4. I play mostly MTT and Cash games at small limits. My bankroll I keep small, just cause I'm broke and can always use the money I win when I win :club:. I'm thinkin of probly making a daily play at Pacific Poker for the daily 10k.

  5. This may be a question some people don't want to answer for whatever reasons, but a fun question for people to read I think. The most money I've won so far in a tournament (playing for 2 months seriously now) is $232 dollars. I make it to the bubble quite often, but seem to get shortstacked quite often.

  6. Thanks for the responses. Surely is appreciated. I've been able to get fairly far in tourneys without having many hands to play, but it's mostly from being able to bluff somewhat, but I always find myself playing from behind.

  7. How in the world can I build up a chip stack in a tourney, when getting very very few playable hands. No suited connectors, very few face cards, very few pocket pairs. Any advice, other than to just quit which isnt an option.

  8. Which site in some of your opinions has the best structure for the money. I see that Pacific has a pretty good structure with 15 min blinds on some of their tourneys, and the 250k has 20 mins blinds. Do any of you know a site that has like 10k guarantee tourneys with 15 min blinds. Thanks
