When I am at the MGM Grand, I always try to get this game started. YOur best chance is to ask the staff to promote the game via the mic. Low limit H.o.r.s.e. is a great way for players to learn a wide variety of poker games. just make sure that there is no ante (or have the button be responsible for a set amount) for the stud based games.

there is much more in nyc than 1 2 no limit. what games are u looking for?meetup.com nyc poker group is the place to get info. also, my blog has postings about the nyc card rooms on occasion, may want to check it out.

I've always said it would be a good idea. It may even be more successful than tournaments. It would have to be a very high limit game though. live at the bike is not high enough.

Unger was an extremely good cash game player. IN his book it says that that is where he made most of his money. He took large swings, of course, but i don't know why anyone is saying that he wasn't a successful cash game player.

I read "one of a kind' recently as well. I thought it was a great read. I would also like to hear if DN has any stuey stories. I do not, however, think that the paths of stu and DN crossed at that time. oh, and not that it matters but it's dolce Gabbana not dolce Cabbana.

Personally, i find omaha 8/b to be the most profitable. Learn about all games, play them, and find which one works best for you.

Yes,Reno has lot's of no-fold'em hold-em. Reno used to be the place for poker, not anymore.

My favorite places to play in Reno are the El Dorado 3-6 4-8 8-16 no limit,and the peppermill 4-8, 6-12, 10-20 and the occasional no limitpeppermill is also the best for tournaments...but you'll have to ask the staff for info because they change tourney's often. other than that...reno is the 3-6 hold'em mecca...

I do think that it would be interesting for poker television production to turn to high limit cash games....the problem is that many high limit cash games, as well as the DN challenge, include other poker besides hold'em. Unfortunately, most will not watch other poker games.

I will be in the HOng Kong/macau area this week. I've read that the Sands macau has hold'em...but i'm yet to validate this info.does anyone know if this is true, and, does anyone know of any regular poker in HOng kong or macau?

I have a bet with a friend about the 2004 wsop. The bet concerns which player busted Mike Matusow at last year’s main event..Yes the infamous AK (Matusow) and AQ (other player..)Who is the other player…my friend says Raymer, but I know that it was some unknown player in the 6 or 7 seat. We can’t find any info on the internet… so can anyone name the player that put matusow out of the 2004 main event.

My opinion is that if you play live and online nearly equally, than both with compliment each other. However, if you play online almost exclusively, your live game will suffer.
