  1. Early in a $12 turbo something or other...Don't know opener. Button is 42/14 over 14 and my experience with players like this is that they very rarely fold to any kind of reasonably sized 3 betsferal_cow_icon.gifFeral Cow Poker Hand ConverterPokerStars No-Limit Hold'em ($11+$1) t25/t50 - 9 playersSB: t1,084 BB: t1,575 (Hero)UTG: t1,795 UTG+1: t1,245 MP: t615 MP2: t3,965 HJ: t1,705 CO: t2,705 Button: t2,900 Preflop: (t75) Hero is BB with :club::ts (9 players)3 folds, HJ raises to t150, CO folds, Button calls t150, Hero..
It's still too early and the stacks aren't shallow enough to look for a flip. I'm not saying shipping is horrible but it's no where near optimal when considering the stacks/blinds/players. The possible dead money, meaning we only get one caller isn't enough to justify the invitation to the inevitable variance that tourney poker forces a player to embrace. I'm assuming this is a 180 man turbo sng.I'm not worried about being exploited with AQ in the BB with these stacks. smooth call>ship>>>>>>>>3bet/call>>>folding
Gary, I don't think it's THAT early seeing that it is a turbo. If this was a non-turbo then I definitely wouldn't mind seeing a flop even OOP. But blinds go up fairly fast. Also a fish with those stats will probably get it in AIPF anyway. They hate folding especially when they raise and they hate getting bullied around.

Would a jam be out of the question?
  3. Yeah, those are my chairs. I realized I forgot them on the way home, but Jamie and I got so F-ing lost trying to find the highway we didn't want to turn around. I'll get them next time we get together.Thnx for hosting. BenBTW, Kurt did you see any of the thousand cops on your way home??? I swear we saw one every couple blocks.
You ever get the chairs back?
  4. All I have to say to whoever thought Sash should win, you're wrong. Sure the game is about outplaying and outlasting but Sash straight up lied to everyone's face and kept trying to save himself by lying consistently rather than just staying with his word. When you do that to a lot of people it's not going to bode well for you. Chase was an idiot and Fabio played it cool and no one hated him. He deserved to win out of the three and I still don't understand why Chase even got four votes. He was pathetic.
You are so flip-floppy. You said differently last year when Russell was playing lol
  5. I really can't believe Fabio won. I think the past few seasons have shown that it is really hard for the "mastermind" to win the game. Whoever is honest and does the least lying/scrambling ends up winning. I really feel like Sash worked the hardest and deserved to win out of the three, but I'm just glad Chase didn't win because he was horrible. With all that being said I am happy for Fabio. It looked like he is all about his family which is cool, and you like to see good people win. But lets be real, he did not play the best game.
I totally agree with this. I really thought Sash should of won, but was real glad that Fabio won. Kinda sucked that Chase actually got all those votes seeing that Sash played a better game and it goes to prove your point that it is hard for "masterminds" to win.
  6. These guys play as if this were the first Survivor show ever. They are all idiots. I'm just rooting for Fabio. Also how does Dan get past the physical tests Survivor producers give them?!?Also the way Jane reacted is just so lol. In the Thanksgiving recap I think she said something along the lines that she would "beg, borrow or steal to win the million dollars." So dumb that she's so pissed that they flipped on her when she wold have done the same to them if given the chance. And after 20 episodes or so you'd think people would stop bitching about so and so lying and how they played an honest game. Get over it.

  7. That was about as flagrantly as I've seen Jeff try to influence the game. It almost seemed planned.Of course, Fabio and Dan are too stupid to realize he was talking sense. And, to make it even dumber, Jane voted for Sash, so even if they had flipped, she still would've been voted out because of her own spite vote. This season definitely has the worst players ever. NaOnka understood the game but in the end was a failure, and Sash sort of gets it but really hasn't played that well -- just well enough to beat idiots. Other than that, there's not a player on this season who could make it to the jury most seasons.
Agree with all of this. WTF at Jane STILL voting for Sash. Totally agree with you about Sash, he's just smart enough to beat these idiots.
  8. I just woke up and I doubt I can play but I will stake 2 players tonight since that will lessen Serge's chances of winning. If you want a stake to tonight's Nego let me know your Stars name and location. Usual 50/50 with no stake back and any bounty you win in all yours.
gallofx (city c)Was going to ask for a transfer, but if this is available I will take this. Sorry, I just have 0 $$$ on Stars.
  9. Make it a bounty tournament. Lower the buyin to $5.50 and have a $5.50 KO. Maybe some PLO/2-7 mixed in
I think the buyin is fine, but lowering it might bring more players in. But I do really like the idea of a KO tourney.
8 game instead of HORSE is good idea to me.Perhaps a 6-max NL occasionally.
I like this idea. 6 max definitely.Gary mentioned turbos, maybe keep structure the same with 3k starting stack, but make it a turbo. Also what about a HU tourney as well?
  10. Hand #38: BIG POT DEVELOPING w/ Vanessa Rousso and Andrew RoblLevel 27: 40,000-80,000, 10,000 anteAndrew Robl raises from the button to 200,000, and Vanessa Rousso calls from the big blind. The flop comes 7heart4heart2heart, Rousso checks, Robl bets 250,000, Rousso check-raises to 750,000, and Robl thinks for nearly two minutes before he moves all in for 3,860,000.Rousso says, "I have a feeling that this is so going to be like the last hand," and she goes into the tank. After about three minutes, Rousso asks, "Do you want me to do this?" Robl says nothing, and Rousso adds, "I have a big hand. A really, really, really big hand."Rousso starts to stretch her arm and says in a drawn-out voice, "Okay … I'm going to …" and then she pulls back her arm and seems to start thinking thru the hand some more.A few moments later, she calls the clock on herself. (She did the same thing yesterday in a huge spot against Antonio Esfandiari, and she ended up calling to win the pot.)
    Soooooo what happened? Results?
