  1. I don't play much (any) HU really, so I could be way off here. I'll tell Jordan to take a look at this and see what he thinks.First off, we raise pf and he flat calls. So immediately I don't think he has any pp larger than us.I bet flop always here, he calls with SUCH a wide range that we beat.Turn is fine I think.River I'd probably just call, although I'm tempted to shove if I think he'd call for a split. (but shoving would be bad, so dont shove. Just saying, its tempting :club: ) But I snap call that river bet. I just can't give him credit for a pp bigger than us, I think he'd 3bet pf with 77 also, so its either a Q that he massively slowplayed, or he's just trying to make a bad bluff here. Like I said, I don't play a lot of HU, but I snap call here.Mark
agree, on that board, if you aren't playing it, you should call.

  3. I've been giving the HU limit hold'em tables a go and don't know if you can beat this game at 1-2 or 2-4 limits.Even a $2 pot at 1-2 is raked $0.20I played 140 hands at a 1-2LH table today, we both started with $40 and ended with stacks of $41 for me and $25 for him.Are other sites with HU tables like this?
    disguised brag of $1 profit?
  4. If you're doing $500 max you're much better off running a 1-2-5 game ($1/2 blinds, $5 min bringin). Allows for a lot more play than just having 100 blinds to work with at the start. The 1-2-5 game plays exactly like 1/2NL, the only difference is that the minimum bet is $5 (so if the BB wants to play his hand, he still owes $3, SB $4).
? how would it get to the BB having to put in more money, if it's folded all the way around the BB would have to take the $2 no?
  5. ok, its really pissing me off that Stars isnt booting people off that are sitting out for long periods of time, if they are only going to have 10 .25/.50 tables going, they cant have people taking them up with with this dumb shit.

  6. My guess is it went raise by wife with JJBig reraise telling wife he has AADrunk idiot calls and sees flopWife folds, knowing she's behind and unwilling to try to crack hubby
for sure, they probably said beforehand, i'm not going to reraise you without QQ or better or something like that
  7. I don't know the odds. I do know that I'd always prefer playing at non-jackpot table. They rake a dollar more every hand and only have to redistribute 75% (Guess on the %) but they do it for the extra rake.
wouldnt more donkeys be playing at the jackpot tables? possibly enough so that it would negate the extra rake?
  8. why even play poker. people like this ruin the game of poker, putting in over 20 thousand dollars with 27. I hate how people play so poorly, yet win. I guess "thats poker"
there's an outside chance i might agree with you if he just cold called 20k with 27o, that's not what happened there
  9. I am suggesting that CashGameDonk is proposing that OP collude with him to chop up pot which puts the rest of the players at a disadvantage in this game. I think it is obvious collusion and I'm surprised that others don't agree. I believe that Stars considers it collusion if someone is sitting out in a tourney and a player verbalizes in chat "let's blind this guy out". Splitting up his blinds till he is gone.
tournament != cash game, you think it's colluding when players agree to chop pots based on equity, or run turn/river multiple times?

  11. Yes they do count... They want to limit them though.... I think they should do it like Golf and have a U.K. Open so on... and maybe the people in the top 100 of each running goes to a American tourney for the Ultra-Elite WSOP bracelet????People are fearing that all these bracelets will cheapen the over all purpose of the bracelet.... but knowing harrahs and their money hungry selves they will offer more bracelets to make more money.... they already did this by giving away WATCH BANDS for bracelets....
they count for DN's bet, really? wow, didnt see that coming
  12. I too am having trouble with this donkey-ish styles of play in the lower limits.... this is why i want to save up to get me into higher games where the word respect.... still means something...
ya, people will definitely respect your raises more the higher you go.
  13. If your a millionaire you dont get staked in everything you play. Im pretty sure he's broke. Im almost certain he said it himself on pokerwire, but alot of those guys say they are broke all the time, just so people don't coming asking for it. So Cindy kay is just attracted to the balding, overweight part of that comment. But im sure gavin does a good job of giving off the illussion that he is ballin.
he's said a bunch of times that he prob. doesn't need to be staked, but he continues the staking relationship with eric out of loyalty and it takes pressure off
  14. ...wasn't this same rumor announced like two years ago? I asked Hellmuth about it at the WSOP in 2006 and he flatly denied it and said he didn't know why people kept circulating it. Yeah...so that's a long way of saying...source?
i'm pretty sure Hellmuth said it in an interview on Sirius Radio, but that was a long time ago too.
