  2. i never said you lied, I just look at your stats and think you're a very LAG player who is either winning big or losing Big.so some of your advice is skewed.I dont know any 1-2 players who are up 15k in a month then lose 6k in a couple days.[/quoagreed, the swings are bigger at 5 10,i can't see losing more then 8 buy ins at 1-2nl. I 6-8 table by the way. the 30k downswing was just not normal, just tryng to say big downswings do happen to winning players.
  3. Huh.... I'd like to take all this as great advice, trust me, I really would But if what your saying is true, Its a basic comparison to someone @ 1-2NL being up 9800.00 for the month. after dumping 6000 in 3 days. Now I'm assuming your buy in for 5-10nl is 1000. thats what it was when i played 5-10nl Its possible you play live with no max, or a different site with higher. But on average, @ 100x BB, its 1000.Edit; Just so we are clear, a person trying to start out playing 1-2 or 2-4 full time needs 15k because of ridiculous downswings that have occured to you?My advice to the OP. if he has no priorities, and 6k as a BR, go for it.
I been playing for a living for about 2 years, never a losing month biggest downswing before this one was 8 buy ins, 8 buy in swings has happened to me quite often i would say at least 10 times in a span of 2 years. I only play online where the max buy in was 1000$ with abit of 10 20 not much. I really don't suggest playing for a living with a short role, makes it way to stressfull. By the way why would i lie about losing 30k, losing is not something i like to brag aboutHere were my numbers, I started playing for a living at 1 2, was making around 5-6k a month played 1-2nl, for about 4-5 months, then moved up to 2-4nl where my worst month at 2-4nl was 9 and my best was 21. I was putting in i would say around 40 hours a week.I play for a living and i have a great social life and i am very happy with my decision to play poker for a living, wanna make sure you do other things then play poker, I coach tennis for a college team just so i can keep my self grounded. It takes a special kind of person to be able to lose 10k in a day and still go out with you're friends have fun, i would say it took me about a 1 year before the money doesn't affect me anymore
  4. ok. well first, anyone who blows 1000-2000 in a 1-2 or 2-4 game should stop playing anyways.and lets also remember that playing 1-2 or 2-4 with a BR of 1000 - 2000 is stupid on its own. His BR for those limits should already be established. 2nd. No i'm not talking about living at home. I'm talking about the idea of someone with very little bills, most 20 year olds who have nothing tying them down.
I blew 30k in 3 days playing 5 10, does that mean i should stop playing, i am still up 49 for the month. Really bad down swings happen i wouldn't suggest playing for a living at 2-4nl with less then a 15k roll
  5. you're not, the 24-48 hours claim is perfectly standard. Also, there is a difference between the standard investigation and the money being processed, this is why you get 2 emails, 1 that says once your withdrawal has been approved (standard investigation) and another once it has actually been processed.you are being way paranoid
it hasen't been 48 houres, they keep saying another 6 houres and now i just got a email saying another 48 houres usually party is very fast with withdrawals, never heard of a 7 day waiting period
  6. I am a canadian player and i decided to try out party this week to see how the euro games are, well after 1 week i decided i didn't like the games and decided to cash out my balance 5,2k 2 days after my cash out i sitll didnt get my funds i called in they said it was going threw a standard investigation and it will be processed within 6 houres, i called back 1 day later and they are telling me another 24-48 houres? what is going on? im i going to get paid?

  7. If Lindgren doesnt hit a 2 outer on the river would it have been a great call? Daniels read on the turn was his jacks were good. His read was right. His play was right in my opinion. The 9 isnt exactly a scare card on that board. I feel that was an automatic call with Daniels read.On Elis hand I feel he made a bad call because you have to ask what hand did Eli call the turn bet with? Was obvious Daniel had the straight. Was a bad place to bluff because Daniel is steaming so chances are he would call a river bet, so chances are Eli wouldnt bluff in that spot. Was a call based purely on tilt in my opinion. That said, Daniel has played thousands of hands vs Eli and knows him better than all of us Im sure.Anyhow we all make bad plays or plays which may seam poor to other players. The measure of how successful you are is to limit those poor plays and to induce poor play as often as you can from other players. Its what makes poker such a good game!
Lindgren wouldnt of bet the river if he didnt hit is 2 outter , daniel raised pre flop so lingren thought he was making a standard continuation bet on the flop now with daniel checking the turn, lindgren thought he was good cause fi he had a j he would probably follow up on the turn so he trys to take the pot down on the turn when daniel called the turn, he completely gave up the hand no way in a 1000 years hes firing the river. With the board being so dry there isnt 1 single hand daniel could beat on the river, not like there is flush draws or straight draw out there
