My local home game has grown to about 40 people. I was wondering if anyone could suggest a good software that could run the game (including seating changes) from a laptop? Free would be a bonus if available. Thanks for any help.

Did you see the Robert's Rule above? Per robert's...it would not be dead.

That's what makes it tough. I assume many casinos have different rules. I wish the rules were universal. You get one person who has experience playing at a certain place and another with an understanding of the rules from another place... Is there a book of rules that is generally accepted? Maybe Robert's Rules would be a way to go?

I was at a home satellite tourny recently where a player turned his cards over in (2) different scenarios. There was a big disagreement about the rules:1) Player 1 checks. Player 2 (to his left) bets big. As player 1 is contemplating a call, the bettor turns his cards over (with a big pair) to discourage Player 1 to draw at his hand.
