    if you sign up for a tournament and dont sign on after 15mins of the tournament start you LOSE your OUT they dont take your blinds you LOSE EVERYTHING! Thats the worst concept of online poker I have ever seen.

    Then one night, I'd subdue you quietly, and carry you to the top of one of our 12000 gallon Sodium Hydroxide tanks. The pH is about 12, the specific gravity is about 1.5.     Very true, but I think a case can still be made...Varkonyi is in all probability a one-hit wonder, so to speak. Moneymaker is a toss-up, as is RaymerHarrington was high on the list (millionaires club) before 2002-2003 ever happened. Since then, his style of play has held up very well where many of the more volatile players have failed, keeping him near the top of the list, and moving up, Inflation does not diminish recent winner's accomplishments, any more than the lack of huge fields diminishes earlier champions' records.Mensch

    I understand the rationale for accumulation of chips.  But can't the superior pro start accumulating chips in the second day by using theirsuperior play and reading of people against the internet players and other donkeys?
    Yes. His name is Dan Harrington. He finished with a bit more than double his buyin after his flight. I don't know, but it would surprise me if he was ever all-in and behind a coin flip on Day 1. Perhaps he's too cautious at times, but look at a list of the all-time top WSOP moneywinners. Action Dan has climbed the ladder in the last two years. If I had to put money on one final tabler from last year to make it again this year, Dan is the man.Mensch

    So, I separated $17,500 from my stack. I've still got like $60,000. I'm making him think I'm going to call. At this point, he's thinking, 'Great, he's going to call; I'm going to get paid off here with the king flush.' I then count the rest of my chips as if to say, 'If I'm wrong, if he has the flush, at least I've still got $50,000.' This was my process. And then I did what you don't know about in your article: I raised double.  
    he did call newbie, read the post, and not only did he call with the mortal nuts he made the table wait 5 min. And yes he did plan on calling. Barry played the hand godawful and simon delayed and slowrolled to rub his nose in it, period. There is no earthly reason to delay that call.

    1) Lots of bad players  
    This is one thing you can't count on at Ultimate Bet. There are plenty of fish, but the guppy/shark ratio drops off in one big hurry as you play bigger stakes.
    2) Uncluttered user interface
    UltimateBet all the way. No silly cartoon avatars, no annoying animations, smooth, fast, perfect.
    3) The SNG structures is nice. The blinds go up every 15 hands rather than the 9 hands at party. I play tight, and like the longer blind levels.
    Already been mentioned. Nice, slow structure.Mensch

    By all means, read Akishore's Omaha guide, it's marvelous.But to answer the question that you asked, your J in hand did not play. Alwasy remember in Omaha and O-8 that two and only two cards from your hand play. You had three 8s with probably Q-J kicking it.Now Go. GO! click as fast as you can and read Aseem's guide.Mensch

    Right, make it a 5 digit number, from the top down. Tells you that 86542 beats 8732A, even though the second hand has a lower low card, a lower second, and lower third card. Lows are counted from the top down. 7 high beats 8 high, even if its 76543 against 8432A.Aseem rocks.Mensch

    I find this to be in very bad taste and extremely uncalled for. Catholicism, and Christianity in general, is one of the oldest religions on the planet. Hardly a cult.
    There is exactly one difference between a 'cult' and a 'religion'. Size.Religions are simply big cults. Cults are religions that haven't hit the mainstream yet.Mensch

    His best performance for me was when he ran at Raymer last year and ended up getting beat by him.
    Common error.Mouth lost a couple of decent pots to Raymer, but it was the fellow seated to Greg's left that put Matusow out. Sucked out on the river.Mensch
