  1. During the Sunday Million commentary Adam mentions that he sometimes satellites into it as they can be good value - I'd love to see some vids on Satellite's into bigger $$ MTT's as i'll likely never have the roll to buy in direct, but would love a few shots to Satellite in and then use the Sunday Million vids for ref on how to play in the tournament itself :club: Just curious on what %age Adam cashes in the Million too?

  2. Cheers for the headsup, have edited the OP.I was varying between limp/raise for s/c - is the limp the worst part or the position it was done from...or both?I decided to play the s/c mainly becuase the BB and SB had fair size stacks, correct thinking or should you really limit where you play s/c's from at these stakes? Is the raise on the flop the right move?
  3. Ok folks, i've switched back to micro cash to try and grind a roll and figured I should post a few HH's and try and plug leaks/improve. Any comments on play? I think checking behind on the river was stupid, but i'm a work in progress, comments welcomeFull Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (6 handed) Full Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FCP)BB ($8.25)Hero ($10.55)MP ($13.80)CO ($2.55)Button ($7.75)SB ($10)Preflop: Hero is UTG with 8 :ts , 7 :D . 4. Are you playing regulars or turbo's? - either way thats likely not sustainable, but nice results regardlessI've gone the opposite way, just trying to get back into cash and build up that way insteadSharkscope tracks your SnG results

  5. Micro stakes cash NLHE...now that's mind-numbing.
Quite probably, but it's got to be better than foldfoldfoldfoldfoldfoldfoldfoldfoldfoldfoldfoldfoldfoldfoldfoldfoldfoldfoldfoldfoldfoldfoldfoldfoldfoldfoldfoldfoldfoldfoldfoldfoldfoldfoldfoldfoldfoldfoldfoldAllInAllInAllInAllInAllInAllInAllInAllInAllInAllInAllInAllInAllInAllInAllInAllInAllInAllInAllInAllInAllInAllInAllInAllInAllInAllInAllInAllInAllInAllInAllInAllInAllInAllInAt least there's an element of basics of poker.....well i'm hoping enough to keep me entertained anyhoo
  6. Then why even mention it in a 1 table Sng post?
Yeh, from what i've seen - low level turbo SnG's aren't poker, they're retarded fold/pushbotsI was planning to grind them but in all honesty they're mind numbing, at least with micro cash you still get to play a flop and there's some semblance of poker involved..... I just wish PokerVT would sort out their micro stakes cash vids as i'm gagging to get my basics sorted and they're no help :club:
  7. There's a good CR video of ActionJeff playing a $20 and $200 SNG. At the $6.50 and $16 level, FWIW, I've seen really loose play and people who call with any suited cards PF when blinds are low. I normally play only AQs+ and 1010+ before the blinds get high enough to merit stealing. IMO, tight early is still best.
I'd like to see that. Adam Junglen's done 1 vid on a 11$sng but it was his first ever vid, so doesn't have as much info as his others do, i'd like to see more to see how he deals with other situations.I just bummed out in 7th and that was at the 100/200 level and that's not uncommon... :s
  8. I've not started reading up on poker tracker stats yet as i've not got it, am hoping to be able to get it once my roll grows.Im down to 130 now after a 175 maximum, pretty grim seeing it slide backwards that much over the past couple of days :(Im limping with low PP's early and not playing much else at the mo'--bah, just out in 7th.....at 200/400 level, wtf, 7players still in, I was expecting these to be much looser

  9. I've played 517 6 max turbos games this month and have an ROI over 30, of course I'm experience the horrible downswing right now, I'm hoping to get out of it soon, but nevertheless it is possible...
Sounds good Donk, care to share your ranges in the early stages? - actually thinking about it, 6max prolly is looser than I should be at 9max...?Good to know that the swings aren't out of the norm, I just came 2nd and have 141$ at the mo, hoping the swing goes back up now - im starting to mark tight/loose players as a different colour so can see if a table's worthwhile before joining eventually
  10. I went Mon and Tue of last week, but been in Veags since. I have a hockey game tonight, but plan to get back tomorrow.
Nice, i'd swop Vegas for a gym too..Been at the weights past couple of days, I can feel myself getting back into shape as i'm starting to get near weights I used to lift before a year of slobbing and not being able to took holdSome muscle groups still a ways of tho...
  11. Two - variance. Your swings will be much worse playing turbos. You need a solid bankroll and a good long-term outlook, cuze you're going to be taking more flips than you need to take in a standard sng. You're going to have to be okay with losing more often to less skilled players.
Does anyone else find this? - After watching an Adam Junglen video on PokerVT I've been grinding some turbo 6$ 9man SnG's on FT for the past week or so and am finding the swings pretty big.Starting with 100$ I dropped to 75, then went upto 150, again upto 175 and now i'm back down to about 140ish, this is over maybe 30 SnG's - I find it's very table dependant too, I'm finding tables alot tighter than I was expecting
