  1. My three would be Chau Giang, Robert WIlliamson, and Sami Farha. You do not here alot of Sami, but he makes a killing in omaha side games.
  2. With Omaha Hi/lo my favorite hands to play are 3 cards in a wheel with a high kicker preferrably an ace. Hand like 345 K 234 A and such double suited are what i love, more so than the high end hands. I like to nut the low and try to push out the hi's.
  3. Juanda missed the final table spot again in 11th, another close call. Nice to see erik seidel at the final table.
  4. I know all of you probably are not hard rock or metal fans, but for those that are...Dimebag will sadly be missed in the metal world, today was a dark day for the metal word as the news spread
  5. I just played 3 tournaments on it last night, one mixed, one limit hold'em and a omaha hi/lo sit and go. Wow! The levels are nightmarish if you are not building stacks. I lasted longer in the mixed tournament, but when the 3rd round of stud came around now good hands and high antes killed me. I actually ended up winning my Omaha Hi/Lo sit and go which was the first "Tournament" so to say i have won, but of course it does not count towards points. Thanks for introducing me to the site guys.
  6. I read an article before but could not remember where it went, but someone discussed how they played online through pokerpages in free rolls that had a ranking system based on how you did. Anyone use this online room, becuase i hear they have mixed games which include razz and others which i would just like to get a customed to by playing for free, and maybe earning some money at it if i get good. I heard that if you earn enough free play points in the tournaments they can be converted into cash, this true? Thanks
  7. I would fold, you are not really getting any good pot odds, maybe 2-1 to stretch it, but just wait for another time...the pot is not enough to warrant a call.
  8. Daniel...I do not remember if you said this on the Poker at the Plaza taping, or in a article about it, but i recall you saying something along the lines of, and correct me if i am wrong "Ted Forrest is the one that intimidates me at this final table". Are there any other players like him that the general poker community including yourself that you would rather not have sitting at your table.
  9. It does seem like we ar drifting away from the way poker orginally was in sense to behavior. I am waiting to see next year when we see signs being held up in the crowd and "number one" fingers being displayed, haha. There are people who behave the same on or off camera from what i have heard...and i am sure you know them (Hellmuth and Mattusow). They say competetion brings out the worst in people, this is a classic case because i have heard both are calm and well mannered away from the table
