  1. No big plans. Just flying to Montreal to surprise my sister for her 40th birthday party then taking the train to meet Jess and Nick - when they went to drop me off at the airport, a surprise trip for them to NYC was unveiled and I'm meeting them there on Sunday. Pretty standard stuff.

  2. It sounds like your GF has such serious body/self-image issues, that the mere mention of the word fat is a triggering word to her. That leaves you two options:

    1) be sensitive towards her body issues, knowing that you'll never, ever be able to talk to her about her weight/body issues. You will simply need to accept that, as she slides towards middle age, that her ever ballooning ass is just the price you'll have to pay for her love, and you'll pay it in silence. Try not to let resentment bubble up too much

    2) You bet back into her and start calling her fatty, and make constant comments about her weight and body, constantly fat shaming her. She'll either leave you for being a monster, or she'll develop a severe eating disorder, and her ass will stay perfect well into middle age, at which point you'll be trading up for a younger model anyway.

I didn't look at the poster's name and only glanced at the avatar and so I thought brvy posted this at first. This puzzled me.

  3. Webers contract is an abomination. He's paid till he's 41 and he's already falling off. You can argue that it's an upgrade for the next couple years. I would disagree strongly, but you could at least make that argument with a straight face. Overall value of assets though isn't even close. Weber is a negative value contract.

Yeah exactly. The only thing I like about the deal that it has to mean that Molson and Bergevin are making a legit push for the Cup. Let's do this!

  4. I constantly look like I'm not doing work but that's because my computer is useless while I run queries and macros. If I was a useful person I would rig up some usb powered light that would turn on whenever I was maxing out my processors to let people around me know that I am, in fact, working.

That would use cpu cycles, though. Stop wasting cycles, Napa.

  5. administratin's the way to go. Head admin in my town of 8k is pulling in 90k+ and she's like 40. She does very little.

Doing very little is the hallmark of someone who is good at their job. If I look like I'm doing a lot, that means I have bad systems in place. If I do my job right, it looks easy.
